21st Birthday!

 My baby turns 21 today!!!!  Where did the time go???  She's somewhat of a little card shark, playing just about any card game you can think of with skill...so I've always said I was taking her to Las Vegas for her 21st birthday and TODAY is her birthday and we are on our way there!!!

Project Life Gift

Here's a fun gift that Hailey made for her boyfriend.  Kind of a funny story...they met on a beach in Haiti on our Stampin' Up! cruise last year.  He is the son of a fellow demonstrator...so Hailey says "they are a PRODUCT OF STAMPIN' UP!" LOL!!!

She wanted to make a scrapbook that she could add to...and found this idea on Pinterest.  She bought a hardbound book at Goodwill and cut all the pages out of it with an exacto knife.  Then painted the inside where all the pages were cut out.  She used an old tool that came in a kit I use to sell to punch holes in the cover of the book and inserted some ring binders.  Her pages were 8 x 8 and she found them in my office (she calls it HER STORE!).

 

 

 

With the help of some punches, stamps, Designer Series Paper and a couple Project Life card collections, she whipped this up.

 

 

 

Hope this gives you inspiration to make a little album of your own - such a GREAT gift idea and a fabulous keepsake!!!!

MY FIRST PROJECT LIFE SHARE!!!

Just Beautiful!

Here's one of the pages my Card:Scrap Buffet made last Saturday!!!  I love the soft monocromatic colors - it really makes the photo of my Anna & her Andi the highlight of the page.  The flowers & butterflies are subtle yet prominate on this page.

I used my Simply Scored tool with the Diagonal Plate to make my background score lines....very cool addition to this background.  The flowers are called Paper Daisy Accents (shown below) - they can be sponged to any color - very nice embellishment for scrapbook pages and cards.

The next CARD:SCRAP Buffet is on Saturday, May 18th from 9am - 1pm - hope you can join me!  There are 16 cards and 4 scrapbook pages to choose from!!!

There's nothing like a smile....

I have four brand new pages for my scrapbookers this Saturday at the CARD:SCRAP BUFFET!!!  Here's a fun one that deserves photos that make me smile!

The first photo on my page that makes me smile is one of Hailey is sitting on the edge of the truck with her dog Rudy by her feet - waiting to leave for college - it was so cute...he didn't want her to go!  What the second photo doesn't show is her holding a box turtle she found while fishing.  And the third photo is a special memory of the birthday she celebrated last summer with her papa.  All three are deserving of a great big SMILE!

Snowman Punch Art

...

Oh how fun!!!  I fell in love with this layout - from the Stampin' Connection demo website and added my own version of a punch art snowman.  Isn't he adorable???  As long as I was making a scrapbook page, I decided to make a matching card again.  Both of these projects will be available at the CARD:SCRAP BUFFET on Saturday, November 10th!!!  If you haven't registered for this yet - pop me an email.  You can find all the details here:

My little snowman is made with the 2-1/2", 1-3/4" & 1-1/4" Circle Punches.  I used the Cupcake Punch for the mouth and the Owl Punch for the eyes...and the white gel pen to add the accents.  I cut his nose out of Pumpkin Pie card stock and the arms are made with the medium snowflake from the Snow Flurry Die with Crumb Cake card stock.

I love the stacked snowflakes from the Snow Flurry Die - and the Silver Glimmer paper add just the right amount of BLING!

I filled this page with photos of Hailey and her friends when they were in Junior High...having a fun day off school ice skating at Hart Park.
