Challenge #72 - Late Night Stampers

I love making masculine cards - so this weeks challenge was right up my alley!!!  This week we are focusing on the boys in our lives.  With Father’s Day coming up we need to get down and dirty and make some manly cards. 

 

 

 

 

This is one of my favorite stamp sets - Totally Tool and the Jumbo Eyelets just SCREAM man!!!

ED Challenge #11

The Easy & Demonstratable challenge this week involves a little R & R!!!  I LOVE R & R!  But it's not that kind of "R & R" - you need to use two "R's" in your card.  This card is perfect for the challenge - it uses Regal Rose cardstock, ribbon and has a Rose on it!  Rubber stamp does NOT count!

LNS Week 66 Challenge

 

The Late Night Stampers group has become international! It's time to celebrate that diversity with this week's challenge. Design a card, scrapbook page, or 3D item using only the colors from your country's flag. It's time to let that national pride show through! 

 

 

And show through....IT DID!!!  This is one of my favorite photos from my daugher's birthday a couple years ago.  She's a July baby and this was just perfect!  I used the 2-Step Bird Punch for my Uncle Sam - how funny is that???  It makes me laugh everytime I look at it!  My downline - Doris shared this guy with me - THANKS Doris!

 

I stamped the stars with the Starring You stamp set and the birthday greeting comes from the On Your Birthday stamp set.  Real Red, Brilliant Blue and whisper White cardstock were perfect for this project - it's 100% American!!!

 

I lightly sponged black on the edges of the white mustache and eyebrows - it makes them pop on the white background.  Pop those stars up with Dimensionals and you've got yourself a GREAT 6" x 6" scrap page!

I used the For All You Do stamp set with Tempting Turquoise; Whisper White and Certainly Celery Cardstock....Tempting Turquoise and Regal Rose ink.  The Photo Corner Punch works great on cardstock - to get that "ribbon" end punched just right on the Tempting Turquoise cardstock layer.
