Pretty Snowman Panel Card

I think these panel cards are the BOMB!  They are very easy to make too.  Just take a 12 x 5-1/2" piece of Whisper White card stock and fold it in half.  Then fold each side in half again. Use the Decorative Label punch on the bottom of each panel by punching out a little less that half - it makes it look like the bottom of a dresser to me. The Confetti Stars Border punch was used on the top of this swap card.  Cut Basic Black layers for each panel and then a layer to stamp on.  LOVE LOVE LOVE!  Sure to get a big WOW!

Fun Fold Pine Cones

Crisp and clean...not a lot of fuss on the front. The BOOM happens when this card is opened!

Here's a cool fun fold that I received in a swap - I LOVE Fun folds!  She used the Wonderland stamp set and the Woodland Embossing Folder...DID YOU KNOW that this embossing folder is retiring with our Holiday Mini Catalog -GASP!!!! Not kidding!  It's not going to be in the next catalog - it's going bye bye.

To make a card like this - you simply cut two card bases and score the inside one at 5-1/2 and then fold each side in half again.  Run it through your Big Shot with the Oval Framelit in the middle to cut out the opening. SUPER EASY RIGHT???

Cardinal Tent Card

 Here's a pretty and bright swap card I received.  Love the cardinal stamp set called Joyful Season - I love watercolor and this is a GREAT watercolor set. The card is called a tent card - because it makes a lil tent on the bottom. The card base is 4 x 8 folded in half with the circle layers attached to the top front...just something a lil different.

MOOSE for the MAN!

Here's a fun card that my stampers enjoyed making this month - I LOVE FUN FOLDS!!!  This one is soooo simple!  I'm sad to see the Walk in the Wild and Itty Bitty Banners stamp sets RETIRING!!!

The Lost Lagoon base is cut at 5 x 8 - scored at 2, 3, 5 & 6.  The Soft Suede panels are 1-7/8 x 4-7/8 and stamped with Soft Suede ink and the Hardwood Background stamp.  I stamped off the background stamp and added that to the background of the Very Vanilla pieces too.

 Here is the card spread open...

This is the back of the card - this Very Vanilla panel is also 1-7/8 x 4-7/8.  This is where I will write on my card.

Technique Tuesday - Northern Lights

 One of the super fun projects for tonight!!!!

 Here's a fun and easy card my Technique Tuesday stampers will enjoy making tonight - isn't it spectacular???  Technique Tuesday is the first Tuesday of each month in Menasha - join us!!!

 

Along with 2 other projects, you get to make an instruction card that you can keep for easy reference when you want to make this technique at home!

 

 

Supplies: 

• Stamps: Lovely as a Tree (128655-W 127793-C), Label Love (130619-W 130622-C)
• Paper : 

• 131202 Smokey Slate cardstock (5-1/4” x 4”, 2-3/4” x 4” & scrap)
• 131197 Blackberry Bliss cardstock (11” x 4-1/4” - scored at 2-3/4” & 5-1/2”)
• 107730 Whisper White

• Ink :  101406 StazOn Black, 126955 Daffodil Delight, 126952 Tempting Turquoise, 126950 Rich Razzleberry, 126970 Night of Navy
• Other :  113439 Big Shot, 127821 Woodgrain Folder, 129021 Window Frames Collection Framelits, 101610 Stamping Sponges, 130920 Artisan Label Punch, 133668 Blackberry Bliss 3/8” Stitched Satin Ribbon, 105021 White Gel Pen, 110755 Multipurpose Liquid Glue, 104430 Dimensionals

 

Instructions:

1. Fold the Blackberry Bliss card base in half and then fold back on the 2-3/4” score line
2. Emboss the 2-3/4” Smokey Slate cardstock layer with the Woodgrain Embossing folder - sponge lightly with Night of Navy ink - adhere to the folded back Blackberry Bliss card front
3. Tie with ribbon
4. Sponge the edges of 4” x 5-1/4” Smokey Slate layer - adhere to the inside of the card
5. Stamp and punch birthday greeting in Night of Navy ink with the Artisan Label Punch - adhere to card where shown with a Dimensional
6. Die cut Whisper White Window Frame - sponge Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise, Rich Razzleberry inks in vertical stripes on the white window layer
7. Stamp tree image with Black StazOn ink
8. Sponge Night of Navy ink on for the ground and around the outside edges
9. Lightly swipe the Navy sponge over the entire piece in vertical motions with a light touch
10. Add stars with a White Gel Pen - adhere layer to card front where shown with Liquid Glue

Snowflake Die Card!!!

 

 I had to share this pretty card with you - I made it for my Technique Tuesday class - and it was so simple!!!  The Snowflake Card Thinlits Die makes this a cinch!  I used Soft Sky cardstock with Soft Sky and Basic Black ink.  The Endless Wishes stamp set is so pretty...love all the little snowflakes and the font on the words.  Combined with some Silver Glimmer paper and silver ribbon and I think I have a winner!

 I made my card larger than just cutting it with the die.  If you cut your cardstock at 5-3/8 x 8-1/2 - the 5-3/8 will fit inside the framelit perfectly so you can put the right side over the top of the die and not cut that part off.  After running it through the Big Shot - it will actually score that extra piece on the side so you can fold it over and have the right side flap to make your card wider  - TRY IT!!!
