I have a lot of sneak peeks for you today! Emboss resist technique is one of my favorites. It's easy and you'll get different results every time you do it. The colors I used are Blackberry Bliss, Balmy Blue and Fresh Freesia. Another sneak peek is the SMALL BLENDING BRUSHES I used to blend the color over the embossed flowers. I really like them - they allow for better control in smaller areas. Make sure you check out the video to see the BLENDING BRUSHES STORAGE that I shared too.

I used the same piece of FAVORED FLOWERS DESIGNER SERIES PAPER on these cards - one side of the pattern and then the other side. Which one do you like better?

You asked for it and HERE IT IS!!! This ornament is so fun! It was a gift from Cheri Pyer - THANK YOU Cheri! This is a fabulous gift to give for any occasion - it's fairly easy and OH SO SPECTACULAR! I chose to use the FITTING FLORETS Designer Series Paper for mine - along with the POLISHED PINK OPEN WEAVE RIBBON. I also used the STYLISH SHAPES DIES for my end pieces. They are the perfect size at 1 1/2" when you use the 2nd to smallest square.

Ornament Cutting & Scoring:  

• Fitting Florets DSP 5 @ 3" x 3" scored at 1 1/2" both ways & one time diagonally
• Colored cardstock for ends 2 @ 1 1/2"
• Ribbon 2 @ 6"

Here is the ornament that Cheri sent me - she used the CELEBRATE EVERYTHING DSP:

And then there is this beauty!!!! A gorgeous SAMPLER - this is one of the nicest gifts you can give to someone. It's a TRUE PIECE OF ART using your mad papercrafting skills. These are easy to design by just making a bunch of small little panels. Get out a bunch of your dies and stamp sets and design with a season or color scheme. This was given to me by Cathy Miller - WHOA! Thank you so much Cathy! She made up all the elements so I could show you how to make one for yourself!

The frame is from Michaels - you can buy them online. The one here is a 9" x 9" Shadow Box. It's perfect for this type of project.

I love the LEAVES OF HOLLY BUNDLE. The MERRY CHRISTMAS layer above is my favorite - it's a label that features holly leaves in the edge of the label. SO CLASSY!

• INK -  Evening Evergreen Classic Stampin’ Pad (155576)
• OTHER – Stylish Shapes dies (159183), Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (150673), Gold Adhesive Backed Swirls (161815), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Paper Snips (103579), Paper Trimmer (152392) 

Cutting & Scoring:

• Blushing Bride Cardstock 8 ½” x 5 ½” score at 4 ¼
• Basic White Cardstock 5 ¼” x 4”; scraps
• Soft Succulent Cardstock 5 ¼” x 4”
• Evening Evergreen Cardstock 4 ½” x 2”
• Fitting Florets DSP 5” x 3 ¾”, 3 ½” x 2”

Instructions:

• Fold card base on the score line.
• Adhere Fitting Florets DSP to the Soft Succulent Cardstock. Adhere to card base.
• Adhere 3 ½” x 2” DSP to the card base.
• Flag the bottom of the Evening Evergreen Cardstock.  Adhere to card base.
• Die cut a Basic White Circle using the Stylish Shape dies.
• Stamp sentiment on circle and adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
• Stamp leaves to white panel and adhere to inside of card.
• Add some Gold Adhesive Backed Swirls.

TODAY IS THE DAY MEMORIES & MORE CARD PACK - that's what I used to make these quick & simple cards. These card packs are the BEST! You can whip up a bunch of cards in no time.

Here's a perfect example! While these were designed for pocket scrapbooking - I added a Pale Papaya card base and layer under the focal point to make this colorful card in minutes! The printed cards included in the TODAY IS THE DAY MEMORIES & MORE CARD PACK come in 4" x 6" and 3" x 4". They even include 4 sheets of die cut adhesive stickers that coordinate with the cards. I cut my Pale Papaya layer under the front card at 3 1/8" x 4 1/8". Mounted that on the floral layer that I cut down to 4" x 5 1/4". The remaining 3/4" strip was used on the inside for a little decorative element. You'll find the inside for these cards in a photo down below.

Card Cutting & Scoring:  

• Pale Papaya 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" & 3 1/8" x 4 1/8"
• Basic White 4" x 5 1/4"
• Today is the Day cards - 4" x 6" cut to 5 1/4" & 3" x 4" 

Here's another example of quick and easy. I took the Calypso Coral printed card and cut it to 4" x 5 1/4". I added two of the 3" x 4" cards to the front and put it on a Basic Black card base. My ribbon is the Sea Foam Seam Binding that I colored with a Dark Mint Macaron Stampin' Blend Marker to match the leaves in the floral image.

Card Cutting & Scoring:  

• Basic Black 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
• Basic White 4" x 5 1/4"
• Today is the Day cards - 4" x 6" cut to 5 1/4" & [email protected] 3" x 4" 

And another card made with the 4" x 6" black and white printed card cut to 4" x 5 1/4". I layered it on a Daffodil Delight card base and added two of the 3" x 4" cards to the front. All the cards are embellished with Rhinestone Basic Jewels. This Sea Foam Seam Binding ribbon was colored with the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend Marker.

Below is a photo of the elements in the TODAY IS THE DAY MEMORIES & MORE CARD PACK. This pack includes 54 cards in all - double sided 3" x 4" printed cards and 4" x 6" printed cards along with 4 sheets of die cut adhesive stickers to match.

I promised you a cocoa packet this week and here is what I came up with! I love the KINDEST GNOMES BUNDLE and the STORYBOOK GNOMES DSP! It was perfect for this project. I included the ALPHABEST BUNDLE for the HO labels and dies from the STITCHED SHAPES DIES. I used a label to make the handle opening from the FABULOUS FRAMES DIES.

The top of the cocoa pouch is tied with two 18" lengths of IRIDESCENT TRIM. I embellished with the IRIDESCENT RHINESTONES.

Here's the inside of the cocoa pouch. My little envelopes are 4 3/4" x 2 3/4" scored at 1/4" & 1/2" on the sides and bottom. 

Any cocoa packets will work for this. I picked mine up at Target along with the Marshmallow Mug Huggers - super cute right?

We did a little papercrafting tonight and made a TWISTED RIBBON technique card! This is part of  my TECHNIQUE CLUB - you'll find details for that here: TECHNIQUE CLUB DETAILS

I'm sorry to tell you that the Boughs of Holly paper is out of stock - but any Christmas paper will work for this technique.

I used the SMALL GRID PAPER (149621) as a guide for placement of my 1/2" DSP strips. It works great!!!

Card Cutting & Scoring:  

• Basic White Thick - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
• Cherry Cobbler - 4" x 5 1/4"
• Boughs of Holly DSP - 1/2" x 2 3/7" strips in two patterns
