We did a little papercrafting tonight and made these fabulous paper angels! I used the FESTIVE FOILS 12" x 12" SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER. Thank you to Lori Watts for sending me one of these so I could share. The wooden bead is 5/8". I'm thinking you could pick them up at a craft store. I used the one that Lori sent on her angel. I really recommend using TEAR & TAPE for your adhesive - it will not let you down.

Cutting & Scoring:  

• Festive Foils DSP - 6” x 12”

I love making gift sets this time of year (or anytime really!). This is a seat of THANK YOU cards in a pretty box that I'll give as a Christmas gift. Everyone needs thank you cards for the present they receive. I used the SNOWMAN MAGIC bundle. I love the snowflake frame in the set of dies as well as all the little elements to make some fabulous winter cards. The SNOWFLAKE VELLUM adds that bling in the background to make a snowy look.

The KRAFT GIFT BOXES are the perfect size for cards. But it's also great for candies and cookies too! They are FOOD SAFE! Here's all the details:

* 10 kraft boxes with acetate window
* Adhesive tape on the edges for easy assembly
* Folded size: 4-1/2" x 6-5/8" x 3/4"
* Food safe

You'll find the link to get a pack of the KRAFT GIFT BOXES in the PRODUCT LIST down below. You get 10 of them for $10 So fun and festive!

Make sure you use the EMBOSSING BUDDY that comes in the EMBBOSSING ADDITIONS TOOL KIT to wipe the acetate window before you stamp and emboss. If you mess up, you can wipe off the ink and/or embossing powder with a baby wipe and try again. Dry the acetate before you wipe it with the EMBOSSING BUDDY to try again. I used the STAMPARATUS to stamp the sentiment on the acetate. Acetate tends to be slippery so the STAMPARATUS will help eliminate that challenge. I used the JOYFUL FLURRY stamp set for the little snowflake and stamped it in WHITE CRAFT INK. Any snowflake will work.

 

Card Cutting & Scoring:  

• Basic White Thick – 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”
• Basic White – 4 5/8” x 3 3/8”, 3/8” x 2” & scrap
• Polished Pink – 4” x 5 1/4” & 1/2” x 2”
• Snowflake Specialty Vellum – 5 x 3 3/4”
• Crumb Cake – scrap
• Soft Suede – scrap 

Box Cutting & Scoring:  

• Basic White – 3 3/4” x 5”

Mittens & Snowflakes

Here's a festive card for you that was shared in a swap group I belong to! I'm going to try to share a few more of these with you if I can. I'm spending the holiday week with my mom and the internet is sketchy at best. ENJOY!

Stampin’ Up! Supplies: 

• STAMP– Celebrate with Tags (159974)
• PAPER –Basic White (159276), Evening Evergreen (155574), Crumb Cake (120953), Soft Suede (115318) and Snowflake 12” x 12” Specialty Vellum (159832)
• INK – Real Red (147084), Evening Evergreen (155576)
• OTHER – Paper Trimmer (152392), Celebrations Tag Dies (159866), Stylish Stitched Shapes Dies (159183), Stamp Cut Emboss Machine (159653), Take Your Pick Tool (144107), Bone Folder (102300), Paper Snips (103579), Stampin’ Seal (152813), Stampin Dimensionals (104430), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Rustic Metallic Adhesive- Backed Dots (159082), Multi-purpose Glue (110755) and Linen Thread (104199).

Cutting & Scoring:  

• Evening Evergreen cardstock 5 ½” x 8 ½: scored at 4 ¼”
• Crumb Cake 4” x 5 ¼” and 
• Snow Flake DSP 5” x 3 3/4”
• Basic White Stitched Circle with the largest Stylish Stitched Circle
• 2 Soft Suede Snowflakes. 

Instruction : 

• Stamp the mittens in Real Red Ink and die cut 2 out from scraps of Basic White. 
• Stamp the Be Jolly in Evening Evergreen and die cut out with the Celebration label die.
• Layer the Snowflake DSP on the Crumb Cake and adhere under where the Stitched Circle with cover.
• Adhere the 2 Soft Suede Snow Flakes to the circle using the multipurpose glue.  
• Place the Stitched Circle on top of the Snowflake DSP and adhere with Stampin' Seal.
• Using your Stampin' Dimensionals place the 2 stamped Mittens on the lower edge of the circle and over the snowflakes. 
• Next, place the Stamped Be Jolly Label on the lower mitten with Stampin' Dimensionals.
• Tie a bow double strand linen thread bow and adhere with a mini glue dot to the mitten.
• Place the Rustic Gems around the card front using your Take Your Pick Tool.
• Place the Crumb Cake decorated front on the Evening Evergreen Card base.
• Place a 5 ¼” x 4” Basic White inside the card and stamp a verse of choice in Real Red.
• Enjoy!

This is a pocket card using the HELLO HARVEST BUNDLE, the RUSTIC HARVEST DESIGNER SERIES PAPER and the fabulous LEAF LABEL & AMBER GEM COMBO PACK. I love pocket cards because they are quick and easy and who doesn't like a fun fold?

What a great way to use up those scraps right?

Cutting & Scoring:  

• Merry Merlot - 11" x 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2" & 9 3/4"
• Rustic Harvest DSP - 1 1/4" x 3 7/8" (inside) & 4 @ 1" x 3"
• Basic White - 3 7/8" x 5 1/4"

This is the mini cards that I used for my gift package to team members attending OnStage all over the US this weekend. Another great way to use up DSP scraps! My sentiment comes from the

This is a technique called BABY SWIPE. Some ink refills and a baby wipe and you can go crazy! I chose to use the FOND OF AUTUMN BUNDLE with Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry, and and black layers with a Crumb Cake card base. This card uses a Faux Embossing Technique - super easy and fun! It's also a gift card holder! You'll find all the other products and details in the free downloadable PDF file below.

• Basic Black - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" & 1 3/4" & scrap
• Sahara Sand - 1 3/4" x 5 1/4" & scrap
• Perfectly Pencilled DSP - 2 1/4" x 5 1/4" & 1 1/2" x 5 1/4"
• Basic White - 2 1/4" x 5 1/4" & scrap
• Crushed Curry, Old Olive & Soft Suede scraps

This is the inside - perfect MAN birthday card or you can change the sentiment on the front to make any type of card you need! 

Here's a close up of the packing tape on the beer glass - it really looks like glass right? This is a great technique for anything you might want to make shiny - glass, fish, turtles, sea shells, etc. 

 

And this is a birthday gift card holder - the same layout as the beer card above - with a matching gift bag for my niece. I stamped the tissue paper to match. There's a bottle of perfume in the bag and a gift card to her favorite clothing store in the card. I used the CELEBRATE WITH TAGS bundle and GINGHAM COTTAGE DESIGNER SERIES PAPER. You'll find all the other products and details in the free downloadable PDF file below.

Here's a close up of the shaker on this card. The FOR EVERYTHING FANCY SEQUINS are so pretty and they were perfect for this Blushing Bride card!
