OCTOBER 6-9, 2022

Join us for a few fabulous days of stamping friends, Inspiration and FUN! I have teamed up with the very talented and oh so much fun Dena Rekow and Barb Mullikin to bring you this FALL Virtual Retreat. This will be an event not to be missed!

We will be making some gorgeous cards and we can't wait to inspire you! This Retreat is shared in a Facebook Group (you do not need to be on FB) and ALL content is recorded, a PDF will be provided after event. There will also be a BUSINESSPALOOZA training day for demonstrators! The online version for both the Retreat & Business Training is available GLOBALLY!

All presentations for both are recorded and can be watched when it is convenient for you!

The event will also offer an additional day of training for demonstrators! These business training days are the BOMB! Here are the options - you choose the one that's right for you:

CARDS & BINGO - September:

Join me for CARDS & BINGO on Wednesday, September 14th. I'll be demonstrating 5 cards LIVE and we'll be playing STAMPIN' BINGO in between! SUPER FUN! Pre-register now - packets will be limited.

DATE: Wednesday, September 14th

TIME: 8 pm eastern time; 7 pm central; 6 pm mountain; 5 pm pacific time

WHAT'S INCLUDED

• You must register for the make-n-take packet to play. It will include cardstock layers to make 5 cards!

• Four games of bingo in between 5 card demonstrations.
• Below you'll find stamp sets that I'll be using for the CARD CLASS. You can add them onto your registration if you don't have them. Or you can use your own stamp sets of similar size/theme - it's up to you.

• I'll email you a link (it will also be posted on my blog and Facebook) to a LIVE YOU TUBE video.
• You will click on the video link at the time shown above (your time zone) to join the LIVE.
• The YouTube Live Video will be available to replay over and over!
• Registration for the make-n-take packet is only available to US participants.

• You will choose 5 numbers between 1-25. You will list those numbers on your registration form. Please write them down so you know them.
• I will email you no later than 1 day prior to the CARDS & BINGO date this month.
• I will also include the YOU TUBE LIVE LINK in that email - you will click on the link at the time listed above and enjoy your stamping class with some BINGO fun!
• Please go to YouTube now to create an account with them if you do not have one. It's just like creating an account with Facebook or any other website. You must have an account in order to comment on a video.
• Once you complete the form below - you'll receive a PAYPAL invoice and payment of that invoice will confirm your registration.

Aren't these GOR-JEE-OUS??? The SPLENDID DAY SUITE is so gorgeous! I love the foils in the specialty paper. It works great for this fun fold - called a CRISSCROSS card.

Totally Techniques Blog Hop - Blend Techniques

Welcome to the August Totally Techniques Blog Hop! We are featuring techniques with alcohol markers today - OH BOY! I wasn't sure where to start - there are so many cool things you can do with our Stampin' Blend Markers! I LOVE THEM! So after a little research I chose alternating photos to make beautiful cards!

You'll find a video tutorial here that shows you how I altered my photos with a fun technique using STAMPIN' BLEND ALCOHOL MARKERS:

It's all about BLENDS today! WHOO HOO! I love Stampin' Up! alcohol markers - there are so many things you can do with them...so many techniques!

Coloring on photos is something I did several years ago - I was so happy that I stumbled on this technique again so I could share it with you. One tip I forgot to mention in the video is to get one of your photos in duplicate so you have a photo to test out your marker colors.

This Fresh Freesia card is so pretty. The coloring on the photo is very subtle, but just enough to make a soft and pretty sympathy card.

I used the strip of photo that I cut off for the front, on the inside layer - that's really cool right?

Dimensions:

• Fresh Freesia 8 1/2” x 5 1/2 & scrap
• Basic White 2 @ 4” x 5 1/4” & scrap
• Photo 3 7/8” x 5 1/2”

This card uses the Tahitian Tide cardstock and Stampin' Blend with Granny Apple Green on the leaves:

This card is Daffodil Delight with the same Stampin' Blend Marker:

I colored the water with the Light Tahitian Tide Blend and used Petal Pink for the card:

And the last one uses Flirty Flamingo:

These are so easy and so pretty right? I encourage you to take some nature photos or find some you can use on the internet, send them to your photo processing center and create some black & white photos so you can make up sets of cards as gifts - my mom is going to LOVE these!

Isn't this GOR-JEE-OUS??? I love the SEASON OF CHIC SUITE so much that I used it for my August Online Class (more on that down below). This card uses Soft Succulent for the card base and ribbon. And the netting image is our amazing DISTRESSED GOLD SPECIALTY PAPER - so very pretty!

Here's the inside - I just added a 3/4" strip of the DSP to my Basic White layer.

And now for a fabulous fun fold! The next couple cards use the WONDERFUL WORLD BUNDLE - this bundle includes the stamp set and matching designer series paper and it's part of our Sale-a-Bration promotion that ends on 8/31/22. When your order reaches $100 you can choose this bundle for your FREE item! WHOO HOO!

I used the GOLD & VANILLA SATIN EDGED RIBBON with the DARK RICH RAZZLEBERRY STAMPIN BLEND MARKER to color it so it would match. I also used the RICH RAZZLEBERRY STAMPIN' WRITE MARKER to splatter my front Basic White layer. That just tones the white down a little bit. The scalloped rectangle is from the SCALLOPED CONTOUR DIES. I used SPONGE DAUBERS in Mossy Meadow and Rich Razzleberry to apply ink to the floral stamp. That's a great way to get two different colors on one stamp. And don't you love the BRASS BUTTERFLIES? They are the perfect embellishment for a floral card.

• Wonderful World Designer Series Paper 11" x 4 1/4" scored at 2 3/4" from both ends on long side
• Basic White 3 7/8" x 2 5/8" & 4" x 5 1/4"
• Rich Razzleberry scrap for scallop die
• 10" Gold & Vanilla Satin Edged Ribbon

The dimensions for this card are above. I wanted to mention that once you have your DSP card base scored you will measure in 1 1/4" from each side at the top and bottom and mark with a pencil. Then you're going to use your PAPER TRIMMER to cut from the pencil mark to the score line on all found corners.

Instead of using the floral stamp I cut this flower from the DSP and added it to the scalloped panel with dimensionals. This ribbon was colored with the DARK ORCHID OASIS STAMPIN' BLEND MARKER and the white layer was splattered with the same color STAMPIN' WRITE MARKER.

The scalloped rectangle is die cut from ORCHID OASIS cardstock.

The sentiment on the front and inside is stamped with MEMENTO BLACK INK and I chose the VERY BEST OCCASIONS stamp set to my greetings.

What a fun little card this is! I tried the FLOATING STRIP TECHNIQUE with the HIPPEST HIPPOS bundle - both the stamp set and dies are part of our Sale-a-bration promotion (ends 8/31/22) - with each $50 you order you can choose a free item - these are both free!

This technique uses WINDOW SHEETS under the strips of paper to create a floating element for the colorful layer. I used Pool Party, Highland Heather, Blushing Bride, Petal Pink, So Saffron, and Soft Sea Foam for my 3/8" x 3" strips. The Window Sheet is 3" x 3" and the whole panel is mounted on mini dimensionals.

I love the strip of embossing across the front Basic White layer - I used the STRIPES & SPLATTERS 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER.

The ELEPHANT PARADE is absolutely adorable! I used Blending Brushes with Balmy Blue and Pear Pizzazz inks to give the sky and grass some interesting texture.

The elephants and butterflies are colored with Stampin' Blend Markers.

The SPLIT CARD TEXTURE DIES are a MUST HAVE! They color great with my CHRISTMAS SCOTTIE card.

I used a Blending Brush and Daffodil Delight to add color the to PERFECT PENCILED DSP layer for the envelope flap.

Welcome to the August ONE STAMP AT A TIME blog hop! We are featuring cards we would send to our BFF's this month! I chose the beautiful ABIGAIL ROSE suite on page 56-57 of the annual catalog to make two pretty cards with a ribbon technique. You'll find all the details and video tutorial here:

This card was designed by my friend Ruth Bingle - I always love her designs! I chose to use it for my Online Technique Club for the stamping on ribbon aspect. 

Here's a close up of the PRETTY FLOWERS EMBOSSING FOLDER - it's an easy and pretty element on this card.
