My Molli started hers the other night! We sent a bunch of recent photos to Walgreens for printing. I told her to start with what is happening now and get that scrapbooked and journaled. Then we can print more and do past events. That's a really good way to start and not be overwhelmed. I can't wait to see what she makes!

Nature's Prints is such a beautiful bundle. I used it for both cards in my FB Live tonight. This first one has a pop of color with the Starry Sky blue. One of my favorite new colors!

Don't forget to stamp your envelope to match.

Dimensions:

• Gray Granite 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" & 4" x 5 1/4"
• Starry Sky 2 1/8" x 5 1/4" & scrap
• Basic White 2" x 5 1/4" & 4" x 5 1/4" & scrap

And then there is Parakeet Party - a bold new green that I am in love with. I combined it with Tahitian Tide for a fun card. The Glossy Dots were the perfect embellishment.

 

Stamping directly on DSP is a fun technique. You need to choose a paper that has muted patterns so your layer or label isn't overwhelming.

• Basic White Thick 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
• Basic White 4" x 5 1/4"
• Parakeet Party scrap
• In Color DSP scrap & 3/4" x 5 1/2"

We have a brand new mini catalog and Sale-a-Bration brochure coming out on July 1st! I'm soooo excited to get these out in the mail to you!

As always - my catalogs are free of charge (US only). But I found that I was spending more than I needed to on catalog mailings, with many of you telling me that you were getting duplicates. I think it's time to regroup!

I would love it, if you need a hard copy of the new MINI catalog & SAB brochure, if you would please fill out the form with your current address and I'll get them out in the mail to you right away! This catalog registration is applicable to EVERYONE - I did not pull my normal mailing list - I'm kind of starting over here.

Also - if you need the new BIG Annual Catalog that started May 1st - I can include that - but please make sure you don't already have it - shipping on the big catalog is expensive due to the weight. I'm happy to send it to you if you need it. Your orders are appreciated to help cover my shipping costs.

Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop - Summertime Blues

Welcome to the STAMPER'S DOZEN BLOG HOP tonight! I'm so excited to be sharing some MONOCHROMATIC cards with you using a couple of the gorgeous blues that Stampin' Up! has with this new Annual Catalog!!!! You'll find a video tutorial below for the cards I'm sharing here:

I chose the SUN PRINTS DESIGNER SERIES PAPER to go with Gray Granite and Starry Sky - OH MY!

I pulled from all my blues to figure out a color/texture combo for my monochromatic cards with a SUMMERTIME BLUES theme. I thought the IN COLOR GLIMMER PAPER would go great with my idea and those IN COLOR MATTE DOTS are perfect too!

This is a fun fold - I like the striped paper on the right side - from the SUN PRINTS DSP - it's a great pop of interest don't you think? And the banner from the STYLISH SHAPES DIES was perfect for my BRAGWORTHY sentitment.

These TROPICAL LAYERS DIES are retiring and they're 50% off right now!

Dimensions:

• Starry Sky 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" fold in half and cut off 1 1/4" front right side & scrap
• Basic White 2 @ 2 3/4" x 5 1/4 & scrap
• Sun Prints DSP 1" x 5 1/4" & 2 5/8" x 5 1/8"
• In Color Glimmer Paper scrap

This card is all about squares - those STYLISH SHAPES DIES came through again - I really like the look of all these different patterns and colors together. And the sentiment - isn't that the truth? ADULTING is hard right?

The IN COLOR MATTE DOTS worked perfect for an embellishment for this card. I die cut various sizes of stitched squares from the STYLISH SHAPES DIES.

Decorate those insides - just a little bit of DSP - it's easy and I usually use up scraps - YAY!
