Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop - Chalkboard Technique

Welcome to the October blog hop with the STAMPER'S DOZEN design team. We are featuring the CHALKBOARD TECHNIQUE this month! I had so much fun making some Christmas cards - this is a really easy technique. You'll find a video tutorial for my projects here:

SNOW WONDER stamp set caught my eye for the realistic images - I just love that snowman! And then the trees are so pretty too. It was a huge bonus to have dies that go with it! And I sat down and thought about my challenge to use the Chalkboard Technique and knew this was going to be a winner!
The BLACK & WHITE GINGHAM was the perfect little wow factor to go with my old fashioned card...so much that I carried it through to the inside layered over a 1/2" strip of Real Red cardstock.
Dimensions:
- Crumb Cake 11" x 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2"
- Basic Black 3" X 3 1/2"
- Real Red 3 1/8" x 3 5/8"
For my next card I added the WELL DEFINED stamp set - a fun set with various charming little definitions. I also used the HOLLY BORDER PUNCH. I love this peek through window look!
I added a strip of GINGERBREAD & PEPPERMINT DESIGNER SERIES PAPER to the inside and also the envelope flap. The classic Christmas colors in the DSP are perfect.

- Crumb Cake 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
- Basic Black 2 1/2" x 5 1/2"
- Real Red 2 5/8" x 5 1/2"
- Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP 1 1/4" x 5 1/4" & 2 1/2" x 6"
- Basic White 4" x 5 1/4"
