Here's a fabulous fun fold that looks complicated - but it's really easy! I used Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen cardstock with Gold Foil for the label.

Here's a view from the top:

And a panel on the back to write on:

Dimensions:

• Soft Succulent 4 1/4" x 8 3/8" scored at 3/8", 1 3/8", 2 7/8" & 3 7/8"
• Evening Evergreen 3" x 4 7/8" scored at 3/8" & 1 3/8"
• Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper 4" x 4 1/4"
• Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper 2 @ 3 1/4" x 1 3/8" - cut at 1 1/4" 
• Basic White 4" x 4 1/4" & less than 3/8" x 2 1/4"

I hope you'll give this fun fold a try - it really is easy!

Here's the ruler to help with dimensions:

This is the card that I used the HIPPO DIES on and placed the die cutting plate up to the fold line so I would only cut half the sentiment shape so it flips around. You can do this with any "nesting" dies.

Dimensions:

• Soft Succulent 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
• Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper 2 @ 1 7/8" x 5 1/4" & 4" x 5 1/4"
• Basic White scraps for dies

Remember you'll need two of the smaller shapes and one big shape for the inside.

I love the EDEN'S GARDEN COLLECTION! The stamp set and dies will be in the Jan-Jun Mini Catalog - but the DSP, Cotton Paper and Garden Gems are while supplies last and will not be in the mini catalog - that starts Jan 4th.

I love using my paper crafting to make gifts and it's even more fun to make a gift with a matching card! Thanks so much to Sarah Thibodeau for sharing this box with me! It's the perfect size to hold a BATH & BODY liquid soap bottle. I love these and love giving them as little gifts when I stay at someone's house. They are practical, inexpensive and they smell really good! I chose to use the CHRISTMAS SEASON & CHRISTMAS TO REMEMBER stamp sets for this one.

Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop - Chalkboard Technique

Welcome to the October blog hop with the STAMPER'S DOZEN design team. We are featuring the CHALKBOARD TECHNIQUE this month! I had so much fun making some Christmas cards - this is a really easy technique. You'll find a video tutorial for my projects here:

SNOW WONDER stamp set caught my eye for the realistic images - I just love that snowman! And then the trees are so pretty too. It was a huge bonus to have dies that go with it! And I sat down and thought about my challenge to use the Chalkboard Technique and knew this was going to be a winner!

The BLACK & WHITE GINGHAM was the perfect little wow factor to go with my old fashioned card...so much that I carried it through to the inside layered over a 1/2" strip of Real Red cardstock.

Dimensions:

• Crumb Cake 11" x 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2"
• Basic Black 3" X 3 1/2"
• Real Red 3 1/8" x 3 5/8"

 

For my next card I added the WELL DEFINED stamp set - a fun set with various charming little definitions. I also used the HOLLY BORDER PUNCH. I love this peek through window look!

I added a strip of GINGERBREAD & PEPPERMINT DESIGNER SERIES PAPER to the inside and also the envelope flap. The classic Christmas colors in the DSP are perfect.

DIMENSIONS:

• Crumb Cake 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
• Basic Black 2 1/2" x 5 1/2"
• Real Red 2 5/8" x 5 1/2"
• Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP 1 1/4" x 5 1/4" & 2 1/2" x 6"
• Basic White 4" x 5 1/4"

October Cards & Bingo - Registration NOW Open!

I'll be demonstrating 5 cards LIVE and we'll be playing STAMPIN' BINGO in between! SUPER FUN! Pre-register now - packets will be limited.

TIME: 8 pm eastern time; 7 pm central; 6 pm mountain; 5 pm pacific time

WHAT'S INCLUDED

• You must register for the make-n-take packet to play. It will include cardstock layers to make 5 cards!
• You'll receive products worth $15-$20 in your make-n-take packet!
• Four games of bingo in between 5 card demonstrations.
• Below you'll find stamp sets that I'll be using for the CARD CLASS. You can add them onto your registration if you don't have them. Or you can use your own stamp sets of similar size/theme - it's up to you.

OTHER TIDBITS

• I'll email you a link (it will also be posted on my blog and Facebook) to a LIVE YOU TUBE video.
• You will click on the video link at the time shown above (your time zone) to join the LIVE.
• The YouTube Live Video will be available to replay over and over!
• Registration for the make-n-take packet is only available to US participants.
• Make-n-take packets will be shipped after the event, including add on products.
• Prizes will be based on how many register for the card class - the more playing, the bigger the prizes!
• The cards pictured above are just for advertising purposes - we will not be making them.

HOW TO PLAY

• You will choose 5 numbers between 1-25. You will list those numbers on your registration form. Please write them down so you know them.
• I will email you no later than 1 day prior to the CARDS & BINGO date this month.
• I will also include the YOU TUBE LIVE LINK in that email - you will click on the link at the time listed above and enjoy your stamping class with some BINGO fun!
• Please go to YouTube now to create an account with them if you do not have one. It's just like creating an account with Facebook or any other website. You must have an account in order to comment on a video.
• Once you complete the form below - you'll receive a PAYPAL invoice and payment of that invoice will confirm your registration.

I hope SHE likes it!!! This is the card I made for Shelli Gardner's birthday! I will get to hand deliver it on Wednesday - WHOO HOO!!!

I used Rich Razzleberry with Copper Foil and Basic Black cardstock. The Happiest of Birthdays was perfect for Shelli's card!

Here's a close up:

And a super easy fun fold that really shows off the beauty of the WHIMSY & WONDER SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER.

I love the pop of color that the Polished Pink provides.

Both cards are the same - just different patterns of DSP.

Dimensions:

• Mint Macaron or Blushing Bride 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" & 3 1/4" x 5 1/2" - tab 1 1/4" x 4 1/2" scored at 2 1/4"
• DSP 4" x 5 1/4" & 3" x 5 1/4"
• Basic White 2 1/4" x 3 3/4"

I love the pink snowflakes! I used the WONDERFUL SNOWFLAKE as a centerpiece.

I added an extra piece of Blushing Bride cardstock under my Basic White layer for this one.

Rhinestones make a nice embellishment for this card.

I had so much fun! I hope you enjoyed these cards too! I will be back LIVE on Oct 24th.
