Here are the cards I made for tonight. I cased the first one right out of the catalog. My video has lots of great tips for making this card. I love to CASE cards - it's the perfect way to get your creative juices flowing! The 2nd card has a fun technique with the PAPER LATTICE!
I am in love with the rich colors that I used for these cards. The dies (PERFECT PLANT DIES) is so much fun! And those BRICKS!!!! Amazing new Designer Series Paper!
There's not a lot of stamping with this card but the die elements make it come alive! I chose Cinnamon Cider for my card base. The macrame plant holder is Gray Granite with some Garden Green and Just Jade die cut foliage. I stamped the viney plant with Garden Green ink behind the pot on the Basic White layer. And the bricks come from the BLOOM WHERE YOU'RE PLANTED DESIGNER SERIES PAPER - sooooo pretty!

- Cinnamon Cider 11" x 4 1/4"
- Just Jade 1/2" x 5 1/2"
- Bloom Where You Are Designer Series Paper 5" x 4 1/4"
- Basic White 2 7/8" x 4 1/2" & 4" x 5 1/4"
- Scraps: Gray Granite, Garden Green, Just Jade
I love the inside plant too - don't you?
For this card I wanted the PAPER LATTICE to be white so I inked it up with VersaMark ink and dusted it with WHITE STAMPIN' EMBOSS POWDER - heat set and I can have lattice in any color I have embossing powder for!
I used one of the DSP patterns to stamp my sentiment with Memento Black ink. It's die cut with a label from the TASTEFUL LABEL DIES - a great set with lots of different sizes to accommodate many different sentiments. Garden Green ink worked perfect for the foliage - the small ones stamped on Basic White and the large one stamped on Garden Green cardstock. My plant hanger is Just Jade and the pots are Cinnamon Cider.

- Basic White 4" x 5 1/4"
- Bloom Where You Are Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 5 1/4 & scrap
- Scraps: Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, Garden Green & Basic White
Don't forget to decorate your envelopes. I used the DSP for the flap - cut at 2 1/2" x 6".
This paper is GOR-JEE-OUS! It's called BLOOM WHERE YOU'RE PLANTED and it's part of the Designer Series Paper sale this month!!!
