I used the BIGGEST WISH stamp set for the HAPPY and stamped it with Misty Moonlight on the same colored cardstock and created my own background. I love this look!

Here's another one with Bermuda Bay. 

Don't you love the DAISY GARDEN background stamp? It's fabulous for this SPOTLIGHT TECHNIQUE.

Totally Techniques Blog Hop - Watercolor Pencils

Welcome to the June blog hop with the TOTALLY TECHNIQUES DESIGN TEAM! We have some fun projects today featuring WATERCOLOR PENCILS. Did you know that Stampin' Up! has two sets of watercolor pencils? AND they coordinate with our exclusive colors to make designing so easy!

 

I chose a to share a SPOTLIGHTING TECHNIQUE with you using the Assortment #1 and Assortment #2 WATERCOLOR PENCILS. I blended my color with the smallest WATER PAINTER. I love the control that I get when I use the WATER PAINTERS.

I stamped my DAISY GARDEN background stamp using the STAMPARATUS. I really like to use that when I have a big image - it's a lot easier to handle than trying to put it on a block to stamp. I choses STAZON ink because it is waterproof and won't bleed when I blended pencils. Once I stamped the image on my BASIC WHITE CARDSTOCK, I used the LAYERING CIRCLES DIES to die cut the circle and a scalloped circle to die cut the GORGEOUS GRAPE mat. Gorgeous Grape, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight WATERCOLOR PENCILS were the perfect color to add to the "spotlight" circle. 

The A GRAND KID had the perfect sentiment for my card. I will be using these to congratulate my team for various achievements. I stamped that with VERSAMARK ink on a 3/4" strip of Gorgeous Grape and embossed it with WHITE STAMPIN' EMBOSS POWDER. The BANNER PICK A PUNCH is perfect to punch those ends or you can use your PAPER SNIPS if you don't have one.

My sentiment is stamped with GORGEOUS GRAPE ink and then a little bit of the DAISY GARDEN image is a perfect touch to the bottom corner.

Dimensions:

• Gorgeous Grape 11" x 4 1/4" & 3/4" x 3 3/4" & scrap
• Basic White 2 @ 4" x 5 1/4"

• INK – Fresh Freesia (155611)
• OTHER –2021-2023 In Color Jewels (155571), Essentials Baker’s Twine (155475), Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653), Seal Adhesive (152813), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755)

Cutting & Scoring: 

• Basic Black – 5 1/2” x 8 ½”, 2” x 2’
• Fresh Freesia – 4” x 5 ¼”
• Basic White – 4” x 5 ¼”, scrap
• DSP – 3 ea 1” x 4”
• Fresh Freesia Shimmer Vellum - scraps

 

Instructions:

• Crop the floral die from white, crop the flowers from the Shimmer Vellum.
• Add the larger flowers to the white die cut and then to the black square.
• Stamp leaf images, 2^nd generation, in the upper right and lower left corners of the Fresh Freesia layer.
• Add the strips of DSP, wrap with white baker’s twine and add to the black card base.
• Stamp inside sentiments on layer of white in Fresh Freesia and add to inside of the card.
• Add small vellum flowers and a Fresh Freesia jewel to the centers.

Creative Inking Fun Fold Blog Hop

Welcome to the June CREATIVE INKING BLOG HOP! We are featuring FUN FOLDS today! I chose to create with the YOU'RE A PEACH SUITE - new in the annual catalog. My card uses the YOU'RE A PEACH DESIGNER SERIES PAPER for the base and it contains a little pocket for a gift card. You'll find a step by step tutorial in my video here:

Here's a close up of the card front. I LOVE that embossing folder! It's called CHECKS & DOTS - you get a two pack with both patterns - I used the CHECKS folder on the card below. I think the CHAMPAGNE RHINESTONES are a perfect embellishment for this whole YOU'RE A PEACH SUITE.

The scoring on the DSP creates a pocket for the gift card making this fun fold super easy. I used Calypso Coral for the sentiment layer - it's about 3/4" x 3" and I embossed the sentiment with VersaMark ink and White Stampin' Emboss Powder. 

You can add a gift card or cash to the little pocket or maybe just a note. Don't forget to decorate the flap of your envelope with a 2 1/2" x 6" layer of the DSP - it adds a whole bunch of fun when your family and friends open that mailbox!

Dimensions:

• You're a Peach DSP 12" x 4" scored at 5", 6" & 7" & 2 1/2" x 6" (envelope flap)
• Calypso Coral 3/4" x 3" 
• Basic White 3 3/4" x 4 3/4" & 3" x 4" (front)

This card uses the DOTS embossing folder on the white layer - so fun right?

Cutting & Scoring: 

• Polished Pink –5 ½” x 8 ½” card base, score & fold at 4 ¼”
• Basic White – 3 ¾” x 5”, 4” x 5 ¼”

Instructions:

• On small white panel, stamp sentiment with black ink
• With Polished Pink ink, stamp flower bunch and a second time without reinking.
• Wrap ribbon around stamped panel and tie in a knot.  Adhere to white panel and then to folded card base.
• Wrap silver trim around ribbon knot and tie in a bow.  Secure knot to card with glue dot.
• Add jewels in center of flowers.

TURTLE FRIENDS is so stinkin cute!!!! I hope you love this flap fun fold - the front is adorable but the inside is so much fun!!! I used Granny Apple Green and Misty Moonlight for the card on the left. The pink is Polished Pink and Pale Papaya.

I'll be demonstrating 5 cards LIVE and we'll be playing STAMPIN' BINGO in between! SUPER FUN! Pre-register now - packets will be limited.

DATE: Wednesday, June 30

TIME: 8 pm eastern time; 7 pm central; 6 pm mountain; 5 pm pacific time

COST: $35

LOCATION: YOU TUBE LIVE - LINK will be posted closer to the 6/30 class date

DEADLINE: Wednesday, June 23 at noon central time

WHAT'S INCLUDED

• You must register for the make-n-take packet to play. It will include cardstock layers to make 5 cards!
• You'll receive products worth $15-$20 in your make-n-take packet!
• Four games of bingo in between 5 card demonstrations.
• Below you'll find stamp sets that I'll be using for the first CARDS & BINGO CLASS (coming soon). You can add them onto your registration if you don't have them. Or you can use your own stamp sets of similar size/theme - it's up to you.

OTHER TIDBITS

• I'll email you a link (it will also be posted on my blog and Facebook) to a LIVE YOU TUBE video.
• You will click on the video link at the time shown above (your time zone) to join the LIVE.
• The YouTube Live Video will be available to replay over and over!
• Registration for the make-n-take packet is only available to US participants.
• Make-n-take packets will be shipped after the event, including add on products.
• Prizes will be based on how many register for the card class - the more playing, the bigger the prizes!
• The cards pictured above are just for advertising purposes - we will not be making them.

HOW TO PLAY

• You will choose 5 numbers between 1-25. You will list those numbers on your registration form. Please write them down so you know them.
• I will email you no later than 1 day prior to the CARDS & BINGO date this month.
• I will also include the YOU TUBE LIVE LINK in that email - you will click on the link at the time listed above and enjoy your stamping class with some BINGO fun!
• Please go to YouTube now to create an account with them if you do not have one. It's just like creating an account with Facebook or any other website. You must have an account in order to comment on a video.
• Once you complete the form below - you'll receive a PAYPAL invoice and payment of that invoice will confirm your registration.

I made a COASTAL CABANA box and a POLISHED PINK box. You'll find the dimensions for the box, a template and the front layers down below.

And then I just couldn't stop with the beautiful bundle - PRETTY PERENNIALS - so I had to make this smashing card - so colorful and full of happy!

One in COASTAL CABANA and one in HIGHLAND HEATHER. Can't wait to send these out!

I used the HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS stamp for this giant greeting - love those big fonts! With a couple HIGHLAND HEATHER  flowers.
