We had so much fun tonight! I love a card with a pop up on the inside and the snail cards are a big wow when you open them for sure. Then the pretty Bumblebee card can work with so many different ideas - I love this layout.

This photo shows the Wink of Stella on the butterfly from BUTTERFLY BRILLIANCE. This is a fabulous bundle that allows you to cut out six individual butterflies with one roll through the machine. EASY PEASY!

I just love this card - designed by my team member Wendy-Sue Winter. She always makes pretty cards. I love the layout - it's classic and can be used for so many different stamp sets and color combinations.

Dimensions:

• Bumblebee 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" & scrap
• Basic White 2 @ 4" x 5 1/4" & scrap
• 2020-2022 In Color DSP 3 @ 1" x 4 3/4" & 3/4" x 5 1/4" (inside)

Here's my origami pop up card - super fun and fairly easy. Make sure that you are folding the DSP so the corners are crisp and pointy. Try it out on a scrap piece of paper to get the hang of it first.

I love the bright, fun colors in the Snail Mail DSP!

Isn't this super cute? You saw how easy it was! I hope you'll make some of your own.

Totally Techniques Blog Hop - Fun with BLENDS!

Welcome to the March TOTALLY TECHNIQUES blog hop! We are all featuring projects made with STAMPIN' BLENDS today - OH MY GOSH! There are some very cool things you can do with the alcohol markers. I tried out a new technique today - I hope you enjoy it! You can watch a video tutorial here:

This was so fun! I used STAMPIN' BLEND MARKERS on VELLUM CARDSTOCK with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol with a WATER PAINTER. I decided to use the SO MUCH HAPPY bundle because it's retiring...GASP...and I have a few kits left with this bundle! The dies are on sale for $12.00!!! You'll find the kit class and a couple more super cute card ideas with this bundle at this link: KIT CLASS

I think the Vellum Cardstock layer would look great with the Sand & Sea suite of products - what do you think?

I left my VELLUM CARDSTOCK layer 3/4" wider so I could cut that slice off to use on the inside of my card.

Dimensions:

• Pretty Peacock 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" & scrap
• Basic White 2 @ 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" & scrap
• Vellum Cardstock 4 1/2" x 5" (cut 3/4" off the side for the inside strip)

I used Dark Bermuda Bay, Dark Cinnamon Cider and Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blend Markers with the medium Water Painter.

And this one is OH SO BRIGHT right?

Dark Pumpkin Pie and Dark Magenta Madness Stampin' Blend Markers will give you this beauty!

Dimensions:

• Magenta Madness 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
• Basic White 2 @ 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" & scrap
• Vellum Cardstock 4 1/2" x 5" (cut 3/4" off the side for the inside strip)

 

I hope you'll give this a try! Add some Isopropyl Alcohol to your shopping list if you don't have the high concentrate alcohol. Play around with different colors and see what you can come up with!

Cards & Bingo - MARCH

When you register for LIVE BINGO you get a whole bunch of fun! We make 5 cards and play bingo in between! The class packet includes pre-cut cardstock for all 5 cards and goodies to make them. This month I included Snailed It Baker's Twine (combo pack), Wink of Stella and Pearls. The kits are mailed out after bingo to include your prizes if you win. This is just so much fun!!! I can't wait to send this card out!!! The butterflies are from the BUTTERFLY BOUQUET bundle and they're stamped on the ARTISTRY BLOOMS DSP.

I just love the ARTISTRY BLOOMS DSP - it is bright and pretty! I thought it was the perfect choice for the butterfly cards.

I used Mini Glue Dots at the tops of the butterfly wings to adhere them together! So cool when you open the card right?

Here's another one - made the same way as the 1st one. I used the RECTANGULAR POSTAGE PUNCH with the WONDERFUL AS YOU stamp set.

MASCULINE CARDS - Creative Inking Blog Hop

Welcome to the CREATIVE INKING BLOG HOP for March! We are featuring Masculine Cards today and I have a couple dandy's for you! 

 

You'll find a video tutorial with all the tips and some great guidance using the Stampin' Blends to color these images:

Here's my first card - a vellum overlay! This is a quick and easy card for the men in your life.

Dimensions:

• Basic Black 11" x 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2" & 1" x 4"
• Basic White 2 @ 4" x 5 1/4" & scrap

And my 2nd card uses the same idea but different elements. I stamped the sifter image on the Cinnamon Cider card front and used the small Stitched Rectangle Die for my sentiment. A 1/4" strip of Basic black behind the sentiment layer just adds an easy element. 

 

Don't forget to color the Opal Rounds with the Dark Cider Cinnamon Blend to add a little bling.

• Cinnamon Cider 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" & scrap
• Vellum Cardstock 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
• Basic White 4" x 5 1/4"

You will love how easy it is to create cards with this amazing bundle. There's shelves, window boxes, pots with foliage and flowers as well as shutters, a pitcher and some outstanding sentiments.

I combined the bundle with the FINE ART FLORAL DESIGNER SERIES PAPER for a springy background.

Here is the bundle - WELCOMING WINDOW - so many dies and fabulous tw0-step stamps! This one will make some gorgeous cards! It would be great for some scrapbooking elements too!
