Oh my!!! I have a FUN one for you today!!!! It's called Faux Embossing and you're going to LOVE IT! Watch the video tutorial for all the tips here:

Here's my card. You can see the FRIEND slightly shining in this photo. This FAUX EMBOSSING technique is so much MORE in real life. And super easy right?

Dimensions:

• Whisper White Thick 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
• Whisper White 4" x 5 1/4"
• Basic Gray & Shaded Spruce scraps

I used Soft Sea Foam, Seaside Spray, Shaded Spruce, Old Olive (these last two colors were stamped off once) inks and the same color of cardstock for the die cut FRIEND from the WELL WRITTEN DIES.

Any shiny packing tape will work - you do not need a TERRORIST TAPE GUN like this one.

This photo really shows the shiny die cut - so cool right! This one is Seaside Spray.

Here is the Mini Paper Pumpkin Box that I made and shared with you on Friday. You'll find all the details and video tutorial for that HERE. I used Notecards & Envelopes for the cards inside the box. I made 4 but I think you could easily fit 8 in the box. My colors are Bumblebee, Cajun Craze, Rich Razzleberry and Pumpkin Pie with the Gilded Autumn DSP and Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon. The layer under each colored wreath is Vellum Cardstock - such a soft but stunning layer to add.

Dimensions:

• Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper 3 1/4"x 4 3/4"
• Bumblebee, Cajun Craze, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie and Vellum Cardstock scraps

Here is my first of two cards using the amazing DISCOUNT SHOPPER KIT PROMOTION that ends on 9/30. This stamp set is called SO MUCH LOVE. You get that set along with QUEEN ANNE'S LACE, a pack of Rhinestones and two packs of precut cardstock to make 16 cards along with $125 in any Stampin' Product that you want - all for $99!!!! My card is Rich Razzleberry and the big white flower is a technique call WHITEWASH. I used Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends to color in the leaves and little flowers. I also added a layer of WINK OF STELLA to the white flowers for a touch of glitz.

• Rich Razzleberry 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" & scrap
• Whisper White 4" x 5 1/4" & 5 1/8" x 3 7/8" & scrap
• Crumb Cake 3 3/4" x 5"

This photos shows the beautiful shimmer on the flower - so pretty right?

My second card with the SO MUCH LOVE stamp set is a great layout. I love using the images in a set to stamp a background and a focal image. Don't forget to add a little WINK OF STELLA to the Calypso Coral card front on the little flowers. It add so much! I usedd Calypso Coral  and Old Olive Stampin' Blends to color the flower stamp on Whisper White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Dimensions:

• Whisper White Thick 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
• Calypso Coral 4" x 5 1/4"
• Whisper White scrap

This photos shows that little bit of glitz with the WINK OF STELLA on the tiny flowers - so pretty.

Totally Techniques Blog Hop - Boxes

Welcome to the September blog hop with the TOTALLY TECHNIQUES DESIGN TEAM. We are all featuring ideas with BOXES this month - OH HOW FUN!!!! I chose to use the ARRANGE A WREATH bundle today. It is spectacular!!!

I am in love with the dies in the WREATH BUILDER die set. I chose fall colors for all my elements. So elegant and pretty.

This was such an easy project to make and I love adding that personal touch to my gift giving.

These boxes are so easy to assemble. All you do is fold on the score lines and pop them into place. These will be perfect for any occasion!

Super cute right??? I love a witches hat slightly tilted on a sentiment layer - it's my favorite thing to do with little hats! Santa hats work great his way too!

I used the strip I cut off of the chapstick holder below to embellish the inside of my card - this is about 3/4" wide.

Dimensions:

• Thick Whisper White 11" x 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2"
• Basic Black 3 3/4" x 5"
• Pumpkin Pie 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"

And everyone loves a new chapstick right? I think Molli is going to love this holder - I will be getting a new chapstick for her if Steve doesn't come home with any!

Easy and cute!

Here's the other card I made. The dimensions are the same - I just moved things around a little bit and add the cat with a Bumblebee moon punched with the 2" Circle Punch.

What an adorable kit and I LOVE the stamp set that was included in this one!

STEP 1: start by loosening the backer paper from your cling sticker

STEP 2: peel off the entire sticker from the page

STEP 3: place the sticker sticky side down on your acrylic block

STEP 4: peel off the sticker backing

 

 

STEP 5: take the backing off the foam

STEP 6: place your acrylic block with the sticker on it onto your foam rubber stamp - the acrylic block allows you see through it and place it easily

SLIM LINE ENVELOPE:

Did you see the SLIM LINE card we made last week??? If not - you'll find it HERE. I made an envelope to mail it in my FB Live last night. The dimensions for the envelope are below the photo.

Dimensions for Slim Line Envelope:

• Magic in This Night Designer Series Paper 10" x 8 1/2"
• Score the long side at 1 1/2" (top) & 9 1/2" (bottom)
• Score the short side at 2 1/2" & 6 1/2"
• Fold on score lines - cut out corners, angle bottom tab and round corners on top flap with DETAILED TRIO PUNCH

POCKET GIFT CARD HOLDER:

And then we used the HAVE A HOOT bundle with the WINTER SNOW embossing folder and PLAID TIDINGS DSP to make a fun POCKET gift card holder!

I love this type of a gift card holder!!! You could also use the inside pocket to hold a business card.

Creative Inking Blog Hop - FALLING IN LOVE WITH FALL

Welcome to the September CREATIVE INKING DESIGN TEAM BLOG HOP! It's all about FALL today! I love fall (2nd to summer of course) and thoroughly enjoyed making this set of cards. My focus was to keep it simple and elegant and really feature the GILDED AUTUMN designer series paper. I think these cards met that challenge!

This card uses a Cajun Craze card base and Cajun Craze ink. You'll find all the dimensions down below the photo featuring all four cards. I love to take a piece of the DSP and decorate the flap on my envelopes. This envelope is Very Vanilla to match the cardstock used for the sentiment layer and the inside panel. The flap DSP is cut 2 1/2" x 6" and added with a little liquid glue to the flap and trimmed.

This card uses Early Espresso cardstock and ink to pull out the little sprigs in the DSP.

I chose Very Vanilla for the card base on this one and Cajun Craze ink to match the DSP - this DSP is so rich and elegant - I LOVE IT!

This card uses a Mint Macaron card base and ink to coordinate with the DSP layer. AND this card was part of a swap, designed by Jaye Ciontea. She's a very talented member of my team! I love her style and this layout is quick and easy. WAY TO GO Jaye!

I can't hardly wait to send these out! I think I'll make a whole bunch more so I have them on hand and they're ready to go.

• Base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" - cut 1" off the front right edge
• Brushed Metallic Cardstock 3" x 5 1/2" & 1" x 3"
• Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper 2 3/4" x 5 1/4" & 2 1/2" x 6" for envelope
• Very Vanilla 3/4" x 2 3/4" & 3" x 5 1/4"

Here's the entire suite of products in the GILDED AUTUMN SUITE - I just love the color coordination and ease of designing when I have an entire suite at my finger tips.

OH MY GOODNESS! This bundle is the cutest! I love that it has Halloween and Christmas and HOO doesn't love little owls right? I paired both holidays up with the PLAID TIDINGS DESIGNER SERIES PAPER pack. This paper comes in 6" x 6" and the pack includes 4 of each pattern for a total of 48 sheets. Plaid is so trendy - any cards you make with this paper is going to be SMASHING!

I used the WRAPPED IN TEXTURE embossing folder and chose to stamp the sentiment for my background on the front of my card. Do you love the striped Playful Pets Baker's Twine? It's part of a combo pack that includes a stitched Real Red ribbon too. I used the Bumblebee ink pad and a sponge to color the Black & White twine to match my card - you can make any color you need!

I forgot to add the DSP to the envelope flap in the video! Cut it a 2 1/2" x 6", glue on the flap and trim off excess.

This inside is simple with a little BOO and a 3/4" strip of matching DSP. Use the DSP to cover the flap of your envelope for a little mailbox fun too. You cut it 2 1/2" x 6" and use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the flap and trim with your Paper Snips.
