Creative Inking Blog Hop - FALLING IN LOVE WITH FALL

Welcome to the September CREATIVE INKING DESIGN TEAM BLOG HOP! It's all about FALL today! I love fall (2nd to summer of course) and thoroughly enjoyed making this set of cards. My focus was to keep it simple and elegant and really feature the GILDED AUTUMN designer series paper. I think these cards met that challenge!

This card uses a Cajun Craze card base and Cajun Craze ink. You'll find all the dimensions down below the photo featuring all four cards. I love to take a piece of the DSP and decorate the flap on my envelopes. This envelope is Very Vanilla to match the cardstock used for the sentiment layer and the inside panel. The flap DSP is cut 2 1/2" x 6" and added with a little liquid glue to the flap and trimmed.
This card uses Early Espresso cardstock and ink to pull out the little sprigs in the DSP.
I chose Very Vanilla for the card base on this one and Cajun Craze ink to match the DSP - this DSP is so rich and elegant - I LOVE IT!
This card uses a Mint Macaron card base and ink to coordinate with the DSP layer. AND this card was part of a swap, designed by Jaye Ciontea. She's a very talented member of my team! I love her style and this layout is quick and easy. WAY TO GO Jaye!
I can't hardly wait to send these out! I think I'll make a whole bunch more so I have them on hand and they're ready to go.
Dimensions:
- Base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" - cut 1" off the front right edge
- Brushed Metallic Cardstock 3" x 5 1/2" & 1" x 3"
- Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper 2 3/4" x 5 1/4" & 2 1/2" x 6" for envelope
- Very Vanilla 3/4" x 2 3/4" & 3" x 5 1/4"
Here's the entire suite of products in the GILDED AUTUMN SUITE - I just love the color coordination and ease of designing when I have an entire suite at my finger tips.
