Welcome to the May Blog Hop. We are featuring WATERCOLORING today! One of my favorite techniques. I choose a technique called MAGIC WATER STAMPING. It's fun and easy. You can find all the details in my video here:

You can really see the MAGIC WATER STAMPING technique in this photo - it's got a ghosting look right? I'm so excited because I have several new products that I'm sharing with you today!!! MISTY MOONLIGHT cardstock, ink & ribbon, BRASS FOIL SHEETS, LOVELY YOU stamp set, LOVELY LABELS PICK A PUNCH and FOREVER GREENERY TRIM COMBO PACK....WOW!!!!
The new LOVELY LABELS PICK A PUNCH has three different sized guides for each side. You can make labels in any length you want that are 1/2", 3/4" & 1" - six different labels from ONE PUNCH - WHOO HOO! This punch will be available on June 3rd when the new catalog starts.
Did you notice the new BLUE? It's called MISTY MOONLIGHT and it's one of five new In Colors that will be available starting June 3rd. The little enamel dot in the middle of the Brass butterfly is part of that new color offering too.
Dimensions:
- Misty Moonlight 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
- Brass Foil Sheets 5" x 3 3/4", 1/4" x 5 1/4" & scrap
- Basic Black 1" x 4 1/4"
- Whisper White 4 7/8" x 3 5/8" & 4" x 5 1/4"
I love the NEW gold twine - it's part of the FOREVER GREENERY TRIM COMBO PACK - this will be available with the new catalog on June 3rd.
I used Bermuda Bay and Gorgeous Grape inks for this card. I also added some GILDED GEMS - even though these are gold - they look great with the NEW BRASS FOIL SHEETS layers.
Dimensions:
- Gorgeous Grape 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
- Whisper White 5" x 3 3/4" & 4 7/8" x 3 5/8" & 3/4" strip for greeting
- Brass Foil Sheets 1" strip & 1/4" x 5 1/4" (inside)
Here's the layer that I used Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo ink on - the lighter colors do not work very good for the MAGIC WATER STAMPING technique. Darker colors will produce a more dramatic effect.

Hi Kelly. I thought I will give this a try as seem so easy but I get a big blob instead of a nice image. What's the secret to get a crisp image?
