Totally Techniques Blog Hop - TONE ON TONE

Welcome to the November Totally Techniques Blog Hop! We are featuring the TONE ON TONE Technique today. This is an oldie but a goodie and a technique that I haven't used in a long time. I had so much fun making these pretty pastel cards with the Frosted Foliage bundle and the Healing Hugs stamp set. They are quick and easy - I know you'll have fun making them too!

I designed these cards to be soft and subtle. Soft Sea Foam, Petal Pink and Pool Party were the perfect colors for my cards today. Tone on Tone technique takes all the "color combining" stress away. It's easy and always very elegant.

Here's a close up of the Subtle Embossing Folder and you can really see the stitching around the Whisper White layer.

Stamping the flap of the envelopes takes them to a whole new level right?

And make sure you dress up the inside of your cards just a little bit.

Dimensions:

• Card Base (Pool Party, Soft Sea Foam) 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" & scrap
• Card Base (Petal Pink) 11" x 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2" & scrap
• Front Panel 4" x 5 1/4"
• Whisper White 4" x 5 1/4" & scrap

Here's a great one for a winter THANK YOU card. I used Pool Party cardstock with Pool Party ink.
