A lady about 8 months pregnant got on a bus. She noticed the man
opposite her was smiling at her. She immediately moved to another seat.
This time the smile turned into a grin, so she moved again. He seemed
more amused. When on the fourth move, the man burst out laughing, she
complained to the driver and he had the man arrested.
The case came up in court. The Judge asked the man (about 20 years old)
what he had to say for himself.
The man replied...
"Well your Honor, it was like this: When the lady got on the bus, I
couldn't help but notice her condition. She sat under a sweets sign that
said, "The Double Mint Twins are Coming" and I grinned.
Then she moved and sat under a sign that said "Logan's Liniment will
reduce the swelling", and I had to smile.
Then she placed herself under a deodorant sign that said "William's Big
Stick Did the Trick", and I could hardly contain myself.
BUT, your Honor, when she moved for the fourth time and sat under the
sign that said "Goodyear Rubber could have prevented this Accident"....I
just lost it.

"CASE DISMISSED!!"

As promised - here's a card using the HEAT EMBOSS RESIST technique that I shared with you on Friday. You'll find a video tutorial showing you how I made the background with PIGMENT SPRINKLES and a couple other cards using the WE'LL WALRUS BE FRIENDS stamp set HERE. And you'll find another video where I share a different technique with the Sprinkles HERE. And another video HERE. And I guess I kinda went crazy with the SPRINKLES! You'll find the first video where I share a bunch of color combinations HERE.

Isn't this fun? Those walruses (did I spell that right?) will bring a smile to everyone! This background was made with Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green and Gorgeous Grape Pigment Sprinkles.

And I made a 1" strip of background so I could embellish the inside with a little PIGMENT SPRINKLES too!

Totally Techniques Blog Hop - Heat Emboss Resist

HEAT EMBOSS RESIST - OMGosh! So much fun! I have a video tutorial that will show you how to do it here:

We'll Walrus Be Friends is a fun stamp set with some adorable images - walruses are always good for a smile.

Dimensions:

• Basic Black 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" & scrap
• Whisper White 3 7/8" x 5 1/8", 4" x 5 1/4" & scrap
• Watercolor Paper 3 3/4" x 5"

Here's the inside - cute right?

And a close up - I love the swirl of colors!

This cards uses just a 2 1/2" strip of watercolor paper and I used the 3D High Seas Embossing Folder. My friend is going to LOVE this card!

• Bermuda Bay 4" x 5 1/4"
• Whisper White 2 3/4" x 5 1/4" & scrap

Here's the inside - I colored the walrus with Stampin' Blend Alcohol Markers.

I highly encourage you to get the PIGMENT SPRINKLES if you don't have them - they are so fun to create with!

Feature Friday - VIDEO TUTORAL

Did you catch my Wednesday tip video this week? If not - you'll find it HERE. I shared a whole bunch of tips for the PIGMENT SPRINKLES. And then I promised to use the background layers I created and show you some cards that I created with them. Well...here you go!

These background layers are so vibrant and cheerful...and super easy to make right? I chose the Sweet Silhouettes Dies for a dramatic look. That tree - oh my that tree! The sentiment is from Healing Hugs - a must have to all your GET WELL needs.

Simple greeting inside that leaves you plenty of room to write your personal message.

Dimensions:

• Basic Gray 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
• Whisper White 5 1/8" x 3 7/8:
• Shimmer White 3 3 /4" x 5"
• Basic Black scrap

And who doesn't love a simple fun fold? By cutting my 3 3/4" x 5" Pigment Sprinkle layer in half, I created two layers for this easy card.

Black is the layer that I use most often to make my cards pop. Do you love that dandelion? I sure do!

This card doesn't leave as much room for a personal message but I plant to sign my name on the inside and write my message on the back - great solution!

Facebook Live Replay & Card Details 7.15.19

FLORAL ESSENCE:

I just loved the card I received in the mail from Dee Esplana and had to recreate it and share with you! This is a double opening card. I used a sentiment from the Stitched All Around stamp set for the front of these cards - I LOVE that greeting!

The little card on the front opens and has the greetings with some pretty floral images.

And that Designer Series Paper right??? It's so gorgeous (you'll find the details for the DSP in the SHOPPING LIST below).

I used a "color bleeding" technique to add color to the flowers and leaves with an Aqua Painter.

Dimensions:

• Base (Petal Pink or Blackberry Bliss) 10" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4 & 8 1/2; 3" x 7" scored at 3 1/2
• Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4"; 3 1/4" x 2 3/4"; 1 1/4" x 5 1/4"
• Whisper White 2 @ 4" x 5 1/4" & 2 @ 3 1/4" x 2 3/4"

Greek Incentive Trips Photo Shares & Fun Video

Of course I just have to share some of the fun and fabulous photos from the Greek Isles Incentive trip! This trip is a huge achievement as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator! Only 445 demonstrators from across the world earn this trip and our numbers now exceed 56,000!!! HOLY COW right? This trip is earned fromOctober 1 to September 30th each year. It includes an all expense paid trip for two - and I mean ALL EXPENSE PAID! SU pampers us with a hospitality room filled with candy and lots of display boards. We get to visit the room each day and spin the wheel for prizes. THEN every night when we come back to our balcony cabin we have a pillow gift waiting for us!!!! Talk about feeling appreciated!!!

I feel very blessed to be able to do this as my job - THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD! And to get to know you! Thank you so much for your support, orders, comments, shares and everything you do to help me achieve these fabulous incentives!!!! I couldn't do it without you!
