This NO LINE WATERCOLORING technique was really fun. Now I'm looking for other stamp sets to do it with! The Soft Spring stamp set was perfect. It really does remind me of something Monet would paint...what about you?

A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop - A Little Smile

Welcome to the June Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop - this kit is called A LITTLE SMILE. I am in LOVE with these adorable little cards!!! They are so very CHARMING! Here are the cards made as Stampin' Up! intended them to be in the kit:

 

And here's what I made!!! I love summer and these certainly scream summer don't they? I added some cardstock and the High Seas 3D Embossing Folder but the rest is right out of the kit.

Aren't these cute? Who doesn't love palm trees???  I'm so excited to have a "sea-summer" stamp set to use for all my summer cards!

I love the little sign on this card - made with one of the banners and the edge of the banner sheet.

Another super beachy card - these are so fun!

And then I had to make a little box. This could hold some treats and you could add a gift card too! My box is Crumb Cake and I pulled the little envelopes apart to add one to the front and one to the back - super cute right? A 3" x 6" Gusseted Cellophane Bag is the perfect size. BACK ON YOUR FEET

This stamp set is just STINKIN' ADORABLE! A card made with it is sure to brighten anyone's day!

This turtle cracks me up - and what a predicament he's in! I colored him in with Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake, Bronze and Gray Granite Stampin' Blends. They make everyone look like an artist! The lighter turtles are stamped off once with Gray Granite ink for a 2nd generation stamping technique.

And who isn't going to smile when they see a giraffe with a know in its neck? I used Bronze, Lt Mango Melody and Gray Granite Stampin' Blends for him. The other giraffe's are stamped off once with Gray Granite ink for a 2nd generation stamping technique - same as the turtles.

I also stamped them inside with 2nd Generation Ink so I can write right over the top - cool look right?

This was a fabulous set to play with - I didn't have any trouble at all coming up with ideas - of course the beautiful stamp images and that DELICIOUS foil paper was super helpful!

I love using sentiment stamps for the background on my card fronts. This one has a funky font that was perfect for this technique. And then the foil paper did all the work right? BLING!!! And how about those new colored rhinestones - I love them!

Here are the insides of both card - I love to dress them up just a bit:

My second card uses the two-step stamping for the peacock tail - love that! I chose the Stitched Shapes Framelits for the Whisper White layer and then the Layering Circles Dies for the green and blue scalloped circles. A little bit on coloring on the peacock with Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends makes that peacock pop right?

This foil paper is a MUST HAVE! I love it when the designer series paper does most of the work and this stuff certainly does.

I really love these cards - both peacocks are magnificent!

Color Coach Update

I've just updated my COLOR COACH with the new 2019-2021 In Colors!!!

 

Click on this In Color graphic below to download the new COLOR COACH CARDS so you can print them out and add them to your Color Coach:

Questions & Answers:

• Do I print these and sell them? Nope - if you don't have a printer you can take your phone to a print shop and pull up my blog post and have them print the pages for you.
• How will you punch your holes since the punch board in the video is retired? You can use a 3 hole punch for perfect placement.
• Where do I get the ring to put the cards on? Any office supply store will have these rings.
• Should I laminate the cards? YES - if you can. They will last forever.
• Do I have an updated list of color labels? Unfortunately I do not.

Stampin' Up! has chosen a new manfacturer for all they die cutting products. The new 3D folders are thinner that our old Dynamic Textured folders. The blue plate is necessary for embossing. You'll find a video tutorial showing you how to use it here:

DINOROAR SUITE (page 98-100):

This suite is stinking adorable!!!! I can't hardly wait to start sending these cards out - they make me smile!

I used the 2" punch to punch out some of the dinosaur designs on the Designer Series Paper - super easy!

This one features the Dinoroar Enamel Shapes on the sentiment: 

Here they are opened. I think you'll agree with me that the designer series paper does all the work for you!

 

Dimensions:

Card base - 11" x 4 1/4" scored at 4 1/4" & 8 7/8"

Whisper White - 3" x 4"

Designer Series Paper - 2 @ 4" x 4" & 1/2" to 3/4" x 4 1/4"

 

BIRD BALLAD SUITE (page 90-92):

Gorgeous paper and rubber images -- this is one of my favorites!!!

 

 

I love a fun fold and this one is so easy! You'll wow your friends with this paper and gorgeous stamp images - FOR SURE!!!

 

The NESTED LABEL DIES is a perfect companion to the FREE AS A BIRD stamp set:

 

And here's one with the flowers and birds - DELICIOUS!

The insides have a little strip of DSP to jazz them up a bit:
