A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop - Hugs From Shelli
05/30/2019
Welcome to the May Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop - we are featuring the HUGS FROM SHELLI kit this month. I LOVE all the gorgeous images in the stamp set and the printed designs on the cards and the lined envelopes are so very CHARMING! Here are the cards made as Stampin' Up! intended them to be in the kit:
And you'll find 3 different alternate ideas that I created with the May kit - a video tutorial will show you all the details here:

I love the simplicity of this card - just a couple steps and you have a beauty like this:
Dimensions:
- Very Vanilla Thick card base 11" x 4 1/4" scored and folded at 5 1/2"
- Cut the Printed paper to 4" x 3 1/2"
- Cut an envelope apart and add a 3/4" x 4 1/4" strip to the inside of the card base
- Petal Pink 4 1/8" x 3 5/8"
And then I took the card front and added it to a layer of the brand new PRETTY PEACOCK cardstock. This is one of our new In Colors that will be available in the new catalog June 4th. I used Gray Granite and Pretty Peacock ink.
Dimensions:
- Gray Granite card base 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" folded in half
- Cut printed paper to 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"
- Pretty Peacock 4 7/8" x 3 5/8"
- Very Vanilla 4" x 5 1/4"
This little treat holder uses the TINY TREAT BOXES with some of the printed paper. Just wrap a 1 3/4" strip around the box and secure with Tear & Tape. I cut 3 pieces of the linen thread at 19" to tie around the box after I filled it with candy.
Dimensions:
- Cut printed paper to 1 3/4" x 5 and 1 3/4" x 4 1/2" scoring at 1/2" on the end
BONUS:
When you order your Paper Pumpkin prepaid kit or subscribe monthly through me - you'll get a gift each month that contains around 15 different alternate ideas using the monthly kit - you'll LOVE it!
