Creative Inking Blog Hop - Spring is in the Air

Welcome to the April Creative Inking Blog Hop - SPRING IS IN THE AIR! That's our theme this month. I love making bright and colorful cards for spring - they just make me smile...what about you? I chose the HUMMING ALONG bundle because humming birds and flowers just scream SPRING to me! I have so many tips in the video tutorial I'm not sure where to start? I'm coloring my flower and humming bird in with the Wink of Stella and ink! I decided to use a couple of the Watercolor Drip technique backgrounds for my cards (they were left over from my Wednesday tip video and I didn't want to waist them right?) and you'll find a link below this video to show you how I did that. Here are the background layers I made with the Watercolor Drip technique. It's so fun - I hope you will give it a try!

My first card uses a "DROP SHADOW" technique under the humming bird and sentiment label - I love the "POP" that black gives don't you?

This photo really shows you the shimmer from the Wink of Stella Glitter Pen:

And then I used the background of oranges (Calypso Coral, Mango Melody & Poppy Parade) to design this beauty:
