A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop - Poppin' Birthday

Welcome to the March PAPER PUMPKIN blog hop! I absolutely LOVED this month's kit - POPPIN' BIRTHDAY! I had so much fun with it in fact that I had to change which card I was going to feature in the video below because I used all my card bases for a great selection of cards!

Above are the designs that Stampin' Up! provided for the Poppin' Birthday cards - aren't they fun??? And below is a photo of all the fabulous product that was included in the kit. We also received an extra stamp set this month to celebrate Paper Pumpkin's 6th birthday - you'll see it in the video above. It is so fun!!!

I love personalizing birthday cards for my friends and family - I just know that Hailey and Anna are going to love these! All I added to these cards was the ribbon and Poppy Parade cardstock with the Whisper White Baker's Twine - everything else was included in this months' kit.

How cute are these boxes??? I made them with the card bases from the kit - they are the perfect size for a little treat!

Dimensions:

Cut card base to 5 1/2" x 7 3/8" score at 1 1/8", 3 1/8", 4 1/4" & 6 1/4 on the long side and 1 1/8" on both short sides
Bermuda Bay 1/4" x 4 1/4 & 1/4" x 5 1/2"

I love adding a little something to my cards and this box of treats is perfect!

Dimensions:

Bermuda Bay 3 1/4" x 2
Whisper White 3 1/8" x 1 7/8"

Here's the inside of the card - so impressive right? I love pop ups!

I took the inside layer and cut the presents out of it to make this card - you get 2 sets of presents when you do this - so you can make 2 card fronts.

Dimensions:

Poppy Parade 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"
Whisper White 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"

I added a strip of the polkadot paper to this card front and punched a couple balloons with the BALLOON BOUQUET PUNCH. That's our BASIC BLACK SHIMMER RIBBON - can you see the shimmer?

Bermuda Bay 2 7/8" x 4 1/4"
Polkadot strip 7/8" x 5 1/2"
