Color Fusers Blog Hop for December

Welcome to the December COLOR FUSERS'S BLOG HOP! We have a fun group of colors we are challenged with this month. The challenge is to incorporate all the colors above into a project and we're allowed to use a few neutrals like Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Basic Black, etc. But mainly we have to stick to Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce, Mint Macaron and Gold Foil for this month. This is what I came up with:

I chose the Spirited Snowmen stamp set and Buffalo Check Background stamp from the Holiday Mini Catalog. Such FUN stamp sets! Check out my video tutorial with some great tips on adding more colors to your plaid background with Stampin' Blend Markers for the first card shown below - here:

Cherry Cobbler 11" x 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2" & 2" x 5 1/4"
Gold Foil 3 5/8" x 2 3/4"

The Beautiful Bouquet stamp set was the perfect greeting for my Anniversary card - stamped in Shaded Spruce.

And then there's this little jewel!!! A fun fold SLIDER card - when you pull on the Linen Thread tab on the right the snowman & greeting slide across the card! HOW FUN! I used the Buffalo Check Background stamp for the plaid images and then a Stampin' Blend Marker to add the Mint Macaron lines to the Crumb Cake layer.

Cherry Cobbler 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 1/2" & 4 1/2"
Crumb Cake 3 5/8" x 5 1/8" & 3/4" x 3 1/4" (tab)
Whisper White 3/4" x 3 1/4", 3 3/4" x 5"
Gold Foil 7/8" x 3"
Whisper White Thick for snowman
Cut a slit in the card front after you've added the Crumb Cake layer to the base that is 1 3/4" from the edge - starting at 1" cut to 4 1/2"
