Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop - Color Challenge

Welcome to the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop for the month of November! Today we have a color challenge using the colors shown below - what a pretty palette to design with!!!

Color Challenge

I chose to use the SNOW IS GLISTENING stamp set and SNOWFALL thinlits for two easy and pretty cards. My front layer uses Merry Merlot with Silver embossing and Silver Foil die cuts. The greeting is from the DETAILED WITH LOVE stamp set - such a pretty font!

This was such a quick and easy card to make - sometimes that's exactly what we need isn't it? I left this one as an all occasion card so I can write a note in it or easily stamp a greeting when I need one. It would make a great get well, thank you or congratulations card - perfect for winter giving.

Dimensions:

Merry Merlot 11 x 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2"
Silver Foil Sheets 5 1/8 x 3 7/8"
Whisper White 3 3/4"x 5" & 4 x 5 1/4"
Powder Pink scraps

This next card is a little more work but it's so darn pretty that it's totally worth it! I used Silver Embossing Powder to tie in with the die cut snowflakes. What do you think of that snowflake flurry down the side? Pretty cool right?

And the inside is such a cute greeting - I thought it went well with the Happy Birthday on the front.
