And now for my cards...A lot of stampers struggle with making masculine cards - I LOVE designing them! I chose the LETTER BOARD MESSAGES (page 29) stamp set and some elements from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits (page 161) and the Nature's Poem Suite (pages 142-144). The Nature's Twine comes with 4 different colors and was a perfect embellishment to go on this card:
I would definitely say that both of these cards are perfect for the men in your life! And as those men age and their bodies are needed repair...knees, shoulders, hips, etc....it's great to have these on hand. That Adirondack chair from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits is a must have! I love making summer cards with the chair die cut in bold colors too.
This card uses Crumb Cake and Tranquil Tide inks - the little leaves in the Letter Board Messages stamp set are inked and stamped off one time before I added them to the greeting area. Do you LOVE the die cut and embossed leaves? There are two dies that are used to add that texture in the Nature's Roots Framelits. The get well greeting is from the Healing Hugs stamp set.
Dimensions:
- Tranquil Tide 11" x 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2"
- Whisper White 4" x 5 1/4"
- Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper 4" x 1 3/4"
- Crumb Cake & Tranquil Tide scraps
This card uses the Letter Board Messages stamp set with the Adirondack chair from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits and Night of Navy Medium Baker's Twine. I used Mint Macaron ink for the little leaves by the greeting.
Dimensions:
- Crumb Cake 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
- Whisper White 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
- Night of Navy 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"

Kelly, these are fabulous! I kind of overlooked the Letter Board Messages set, but you’ve really shown it off! Hmmmm, may be adding to my next order. 😊

Thank you Kelly for demonstrating two great masculine cards, these are something that I don't find easy to come up with generally and to have some help and inspiration is fabulous. TFS :O) xxx
