Feature Friday - Ice Cream Anyone?
Bubble Over - Last Chance!

It's Her Big Day!!!

Here's a festive card for a VERY FESTIVE DAY!!! My baby is graduating from college today! OMGoodness - how did we go from 1994 to this day??? I'm so very proud of her! She's worked her butt off. I've seen her stressed right tight - juggling 2 jobs and full time student status is ROUGH! But she did it! Mostly living on her own for the last 2 years...with a tiny bit of help from momma from time to time. It was super hard watching her struggle...physically, mentally and financially. There were times where I just wanted to give her some money to ease her stress...but then I thought NO - she knows she can come to me if she needs money and as long as she's not - I'm not going to step in. She's adulting now and adulting is not easy - as we all know! She stood tall - she kept her nose to the grindstone - she worked both jobs - she dealt with all of it with GRACE and PRIDE and PERSEVERENCE! She rose to the occasion - whatever it was - and she WON! I'm so proud - she's graduating WITH HONORS today and she's going to be the MOST AMAZING TEACHER EVER!!!! I can't wait to share some pictures with you - you're jaw is going to drop when you see her graduation cap - it shows her passion for her chosen field...more photos to come next week!

And now on to our regularly scheduled program....I love this stamp set and matching framelits - CELEBRATION TIME. It's retiring....sigh....but isn't this a fun, colorful card?

Congratulations to your baby! She is an amazing young lady. She has learned from the best.

Isn't it a wonderful time when you can say with confidence that your child is adulting? I have 3 boys and they are all adulting, all individuals, but being positive in their contribution to the world. I was a teacher so to know that your daughter is going to be a fantastic teacher brings joy to me. She certainly is a sweety, must take after her mum (I mean mom). Looking forward to more photos.

Congratulations to your daughter Hilary graduating as a teacher with honours. That is fabulous in itself, but I am certain that she is going to be a wonderful teacher if the photographs of her dressed up as the Fairy Godmother is anything to go by. Remember that she is able to contact me at any time if she wants any advice or just to chat about teaching; as I was a teacher for 20 years.

I love the card that you have given us on the PDF today Kelly, I have saved this for future use. :O)

Aww congratulations to you!!!! and to your daughter!!! You are one proud mama as you should be!!!! Your daughter working 2 jobs and graduating college with honors is just a mere reflection of the mother you are my friend! You taught her strength, courage, perseverance, life goals & above all else, you taught her unconditional love. She knew she could come to you when she was having it rough, but kids today.. well.. not only do they want to do it on their own but, they feel that if they come ask for mom or dad's help, that they are failing or disappointing their parents... and all they want to do is make their parents proud. And it's a good thing you didn't offer her the money because then, she may have been tempted to take it and then feel crappy about it afterwards. She did it!!!!! YAY!!!!!! Be proud, hopefully you celebrated in a huge way too! Remember, I am late getting around to visiting the blogs so I'm still catching up! :) Anyways, very happy for you and your family.
