Totally Techniques - Emboss Resist
04/27/2018
Welcome to the TOTALLY TECHNIQUES APRIL BLOG HOP! This month we are concentrating on an EMBOSS RESIST technique! This is a fun technique with many different ways to do it. You'll be able to hop along when you click on the NEXT button down below to visit 8 different blogs featuring EMBOSS RESIST projects from 8 different countries. WOW! You may have just arrived here from Zoe Tant's blog or maybe you're starting with me - however you got here, please make sure you scroll down and click on the NEXT button to continue on the hop.
SQUEAL!!! I love how this turned out! I used a BLACK EMBOSS RESIST technique for my project today!
The DEFINITELY DAHLIA background stamp is gorgeous as a focal point like the card below or as a great background element on your cards and scrapbook pages. I combined it with the ONE BIG MEANING stamp set for a beautiful thank you card. Both of these stamp sets are retiring - you can get them and find all the retiring items when you scroll down the screen and click on the LAST CHANCE PRODUCTS image.
Here's a video tutorial showing you how to create a BLACK EMBOSS RESIST card of your own:

I used Melon Mambo ink on this inside layer:
Here's a close up of that NEW DETAILED TRIO PUNCH layer - LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!
Dimensions:
- Calypso Coral 11" x 4-1/4" scored at 5-1/2" & 4" scrap
- Whisper white 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" & 4" x 5-1/4"
- Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Paper 3-3/4" x 5"
- Melon Mambo 7/8" x 3-3/4"

Again to see this technique on video tutorial is absolutely amazing Kelly, but to do it on DSP as well that is also such a fab idea. If I was better with a whole pad of black ink I might be giving this technique a go! LOL :O)
