I decided to have one more HURRAH with the EPIC CELEBRATIONS stamp set before it retires....YEP! It's retiring after Saturday as part of our Sale-a-Bration promotion. You can get this set FREE with a $50 order.

I have a video tutorial to show you how to make the CRINKLED INK TECHNIQUE here:

If the video doesn't play - click HERE to watch it on my blog.

As I was thinking of color combinations it popped into my head that this technique would make a great PACKER BACKER card!!! So in honor of the Green Bay Packers football team - I came up with this! Crushed Curry and Tranquil Tide are perfect!!! You can make a color combo for highlight a favorite team for just about anyone!

This one is Crumb Cake and Pacific Point:

And for the girls I chose Berry Burst and Basic Black:

  • Card base 4-1/4" x 11" scored at 5-1/2"
  • Layer #2 4" x 5-1/4"
  • Whisper White layer 3-3/4" x 5"

And don't forget to decorate the inside too:

Thanks so much! Please click on the NEXT button to see what Annette Elias of the Netherlands has created with the CRINKLED INK TECHNIQUE:

Very cool! It reminds me of tie dye! Thanks for sharing your cute cards!

Annette Elias

Oh this makes me happy. You make this "Old" technique look trendy and modern! I love it! Some things never go out of style and you show us that! Great colorcombinations too!

Dianna Knapp

Love this card! Haven't done that technique in years, glad to see it back.

Such a cool technique Kelly I will definitely be having a go at this. I particularly love the Berry Burst and Black Memento black one - Fab! :O)

Lucy Schmidt

I'll definitely be trying this. It brings back lots of memories of tie-dyed shirts. I like seeing older techniques revived and refreshed. Thanks!

Nadine Weiner

Great use with the multiple colors for this technique!

Satomi Wellard

I love all color version of your cards. They look great with sneaker stamp. It reminds me tie-dyed T-shirt, too! Thank you for sharing.
