Welcome to the TOTALLY TECHNIQUES FEBRUARY BLOG HOP! This month we are concentrating on BRUSHO CRYSTAL COLOURS! That's right! I chose the MYTHS & MAGIC SUITE to use with BRUSHO. One of the samples I made when I was playing about with BRUSHO reminded me of a big flame. And what better way to use a big flame than with the dragon from the MAGICAL DAY stamp set. This set came be purchased with the matching framelits - MAGICAL MATES FRAMELITS DIES. And believe me - when I looked at the intricate images in the stamp set I thought to myself "how on earth am I going to cut those out?" Then I examined the Framelits and you could hear a big WHEW coming from my studio! LOL!
Here's a photo of both of my BRUSHO cards. I am over the moon happy with the results! I manipulated the flame a little bit - you'll be able to see how in my video below.

Here's a close up of my mermaid card. The blue BRUSHO reminded me of a swirling sea. And then when I saw those little seahorses I just couldn't resist! I used the die from SWIRLY SCRIBBLES THINLITS to die cut come fun waves out of Pacific Point cardstock.
Dimension:
- Lemon Lime Twist 4-1/4" x 11" scored at 5-1/2"
- Basic Black 4" x 5-1/4"
- Watercolor Paper 3-7/8 x 5-1/8"
Here's a close up of my swirling sea - the picture just doesn't do it justice - it's so MAGICAL!
And here's my dragon card - this one made me giggle with happiness at the way the BRUSHO looked so much like swirling flames! What do you think?
I can't wait to give this card to one of the boys in my life - they are going to be amazing at my creative talent - LOL! Well - they probably won't but their moms will!!!
The little soldier was the perfect little embellishment that I needed to finish off this card. And I love that I didn't have to cut him out - WHEW!

Hi Kelly,
I can't believe what you have achieved with the Brushos. I love the Mermaid under the sea effect but my utmost favourite has got to be how you got the Brushos to create a puff of flame to come from the dragon's mouth. It is amazing and so very, very effective! Thank you for sharing your skills with Brushos with us crafters. :O)

These are both such adorable cards! Using the Brusho for the dragon's breathe is fantastic and I love the watery background for the mermaid and seahorses. Great children's cards.
