OSAT Blog Hop - All About Men

June is ALL ABOUT MEN!!! Welcome to the ONE STAMP AT A TIME (OSAT) blog hop! You might be arriving from the fabulous Claudia Perry or you might be popping in for the first time here. Regardless of how you got here - please make sure you scroll down to the NEXT button so you can continue on the hop. We have 16 hoppers this month - so you'll have lots and lots of ideas for the men in your life! Each blog will show you a card and a 3-d item...that can be a gift bag or box or some type of home decor item or a treat holder...the skies the limit and you'll be sure to see lots of variety with this group of talented stampers!

Here's what I came up with this month! A fun masculine card and a bag/box to hold some lottery tickets - a great gift for the men in my life!!!

I chose the new CELEBRATE YOU stamp set and a very unlikely pack of designer series paper called WHOLE LOT OF LOVELY (you can see all the products in the PRODUCT LIST when you scroll down the page). One side of this paper is all flowery and the other side is neutral patterns that worked perfectly for my man projects - I love that about our paper packs!!! They can be so versatile!

I stamped the HAPPY BIRTHDAY greeting on my Crumb Cake Layer with Crumb Cake in - love the font on that one!

The hat is stamped in the new In Color - TRANQUIL TIDE. I fussy cut it out and mounted it on my card front with Dimensionals. The DSP strips are 1-1/2" and 1" wide - punched in the Banner Triple Punch. I tied the baker's twine around the layer 3 times to finish off the look - it was that "lil somethin" that my card needed.

On the inside of my card - I chose the new stamp set called FIVE FOR ALL - it's got some fun and quirky greetings in it like this one:

For my gift bag/box I cut out two (Tranquil Tide) large MINI TREAT BAG shapes and scored on the end with the shorter zig zag pattern at the top at 1/2" & 1-1/4". I also cut off that shorter zig zag top on the same end (the one that sticks up). I used Liquid Glue to glue these pieces together and a piece of regular tape on the inside of the bag/box to secure the bottom. The DSP layer on the front is 3-1/2 x 4-1/2.
