Feature Friday - Double Dutch Fun Fold

I have a fun fold for you today called DOUBLE DUTCH. I've seen this fun fold for a while and just decided to give it a try. Funny thing...there are really complicated cutting and scoring instructions online...but I used the EASY AS PIE method to make mine!

You can watch my video here - it's filled with lots of tips:

If the video doesn't play - click HERE to go watch it on my blog.

I love the way the BERRY BURST and PICK A PATTERN black printed paper make this card pop.

  • Berry Burst - 4-3/16 x 9 (socred @ 5-1/2) & 2 x 8-1/2 (scored at 2-1/8 from each end)
  • Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper - 4 x 3-1/4 & 2@ 1-3/4 x 1-3/4
  • Whisper White - 4 x 5-1/4 & scraps

Give it a try - make a DOUBLE DUTCH card of your own!

Thank you for sharing this beautiful card! I Love this stamp set! I have been playing with it making lots of cards and will have to try this one! Sorry to hear about your husband. I pray that he starts to get stronger and can do the things he enjoys. I understand having to find a new normal and adjusting to not being the person you use to be. ***HUGS***

Beautiful card, love the colors and how they pop. Love the fold too. TFS

First time I've come across your work and videos. You had me smiling and laughing, love your personality and enthusiasm. And of course your work. Congratulations to your daughter for making the Deans list, our youngest is in college also. May your husband find some much needed relief soon. I'm returning to work myself next week after getting a new hip on May 11th, limitations are frustrating.
Keep doing what you're doing, you're AWESOME. Enjoy your vacation!

Another very easy to follow tutorial - thank you! Always very enjoyable listening to you, as you obviously LOVE what you are doing, and make it seem so simple! I always laugh at your Wait! What??? on Wednesday and your jokes always are a hoot!! Now, I am anxious to try this new fold!!

Not sure what happened with this video but the sound was way too low for me, even though my settings were all the way up. Better that you have your volume turned up all the way and we can lower it if it is too loud. Do you know why the closed captioning was changed to white on gray? Very hard to see, and a lot of the words are so faded they are not readable. The white on black was SO MUCH EASIER, and sometimes I have to rely on that if I can't hear the audio! Maybe something to do with your blog site??

Beautiful card. I Haven't watched the video yet but I will. I just wanted to say how
Gorgeous this is. X

Just came across your video. Loved it and will try it. Happy you are in the neighborhood. I'm in Fremont so only a few miles away. Have a great trip and enjoy.

Love this stamp set. Can't wait to get my hands on it. The little thingies in the middle of the flower are stamens. That's where the bee gets the pollen to take to the next flower;). Love your card! I am a fellow Demonstrator in Aberdeen, Maryland
