I absolutely LOVED this month's Paper Pumpkin kit! It just SCREAMS summer to me and that's my FAVORITE season - I LOVE the heat and sun and smell of fresh cut grass and I could go on and on and on...but instead we'll switch subjects and talk about stamping! LOL!

I love getting my PAPER PUMPKIN KIT in the mail every month because I LOVE SURPRISES! Here's the adorable ONE IN A MELON June Kit:

Each stamper in this blog hop is challenged to come up with an alternate card idea and a 3-D project. And I love a challenge...the challenge to come up with something other than what the kit was intended for. So I created these adorable projects:

Here's a close up of my card. I used the gift bag for the striped background - YUMMY right?

Card Dimensions:

Lemon Lime Twist card base - 8-1/2 x 5-1/2
Basic Black - 4 x 5-1/4, 4 x 1/2 & 4" scrap
Striped paper (kit) - 3-7/8 x 5-1/8
Whisper White - 2-1/4 x 4

And these two cute little boxes - oh my! The tiny box below is the perfect size for a Ghirardelli chocolate and both of these would make a great gift for a friend or co-worker or teacher...to brighten their day!

Tiny Box Dimensions:

Striped paper (kit) - 5-1/2 x 3-1/2, scored at 1/2" on all sides and 2-1/2 & 3" on long side
Whisper White scraps

The TRIANGLE BOX below is easy and don't you love that it's shaped like a wedge of watermelon? I put some Sour Patch Watermelon candies in it.

Triangular Box Dimensions:

Melon Mambo - 9-3/4 x 7, scored on the long side at 1-3/4, 4-1/4 & 7-1/4, scored on the short side at 2" & 5"
Striped panels - 1 @ 1-1/2 x 2-3/4, 2 @ 2-1/4 x 2-3/4 & 1 @ 2-3/4 x 2-3/4
Whisper White scrap
