NEW Technique - Bokeh!!!
01/12/2015
I found this amazing technique thru my friend Dawn and just had to give it a try!!! It's called Bokeh - pronounced bouquet. A photography technique that produces a visual quality of the out-of-focus area of a photographic image - out of focus points of light. Super cool!!! I thought the NEW Balloon Bash stamp set was just perfect for my cards and this technique.
Here's a little picture tutorial for you...
You can see the circles better on this photo - I'm telling you - the photos don't do these cards justice! They are so much prettier in real life!!!
If you'd like to learn how to do this first hand...join me for one of my classes this month - this will be our featured technique!!! You can see my January class calendar below.
My color combos:
- Tempting Turquoise/Perfect Plum
- Blackberry Bliss/Lost Lagoon
- Real Red/Pumpkin Pie

Your Bokeh technique is absolutely gorgeous! (I'm pretty sure there's no "r" in the word). Yours turned out much better than mine did (I think it was the watercolor paper I used as opposed to the card stock you used). I'll have to try it on card stock. Gorgeous!!!

Gorgeous card and the other color choices are lovely as well! This looks like a wonderful technique...and if I lived closer would love to take a class....do you need to allow drying time between colors? Thanks, Kelly...love your card!
