I know you're probably done with your Christmas cards...but I still have beautiful things to show you!!!! You could stash these ideas for next year or get a JUMP START on making your 2016 card right now? This is such a pretty card!!! These poinsettias are from the SEASON OF CHEER Designer Series Paper on page 29 of the Holiday Mini - they are a watercolor print that I just love!!! The striped paper is also from the same pack - BAM!

I love unique folds and this one is so simple.  Just cut your base 11 x 4-1/4 - score at 5-1/2 and again at 2-3/4. Cut another panel for the layering on the front - easy peasy, lemon squeezie!!!!

Pretty Snowflakes

This card is just so pretty - the photo just doesn't do it justice! This would make a GREAT thank you card for all the presents you are about to receive - RIGHT??? I love the use of the SPIDER WEB DOILIES that are black on one side and white on the other. 

And the Soft Sky trees from the WONDERLAND stamp set are so soft...and the touch of DAZZLING DIAMONDS GLIMMER PAPER - OH MY!

Here's a close up of the snowflake/Joy layer - this actually fastens the card shut when you tuck the edge under the snowflake - GENIUS RIGHT? The JOY comes from the PROJECT LIFE SEASONAL SNAPSHOT stamp set & 1" CIRCLE PUNCH and the snowflake is from the SNOW FLURRY PUNCH.

Gorgeous Vintage Christmas Card

Everything about this card is GOR-GEEEEE-OUS!!!! I love the vintage look...love the Snowflake Element...love the muted colors...love the touch of green in the pine boughs...love the greeting on the front and the touch of ribbon and the embossing folder.  The stamped images fit perfectly on the Lots of Labels Framelit layer. Most of all - this is an amazing stamp set - Winter Wishes!!! One of my favorite swap cards.

Pretty Snowman Panel Card

I think these panel cards are the BOMB!  They are very easy to make too.  Just take a 12 x 5-1/2" piece of Whisper White card stock and fold it in half.  Then fold each side in half again. Use the Decorative Label punch on the bottom of each panel by punching out a little less that half - it makes it look like the bottom of a dresser to me. The Confetti Stars Border punch was used on the top of this swap card.  Cut Basic Black layers for each panel and then a layer to stamp on.  LOVE LOVE LOVE!  Sure to get a big WOW!

Fun Fold Pine Cones

Crisp and clean...not a lot of fuss on the front. The BOOM happens when this card is opened!

Here's a cool fun fold that I received in a swap - I LOVE Fun folds!  She used the Wonderland stamp set and the Woodland Embossing Folder...DID YOU KNOW that this embossing folder is retiring with our Holiday Mini Catalog -GASP!!!! Not kidding!  It's not going to be in the next catalog - it's going bye bye.

To make a card like this - you simply cut two card bases and score the inside one at 5-1/2 and then fold each side in half again.  Run it through your Big Shot with the Oval Framelit in the middle to cut out the opening. SUPER EASY RIGHT???

Feature Friday - Shaker Card Video

 

Here's an easy way to make a shaker card!  My monthly stamp groups enjoyed making this all month - and I have to say "they really liked it!!!"

We used the Wonderland stamp set again - have you seen all the cards I've shared this month using this set?? It's a must have - not only for Christmas, but winter, masculine, get well and sympathy...this is an amazing stamp set!  The trees are soooo beautiful!

Reason for the Season

Need a new dessert for your Thanksgiving feast?  Try this out!!!  Jaime Krause brought this to our stamping class last week and it was delicious!!!

 

No Bake Pumpkin Shortbread Bars

 

Ingredients:

2 cups shortbread cookie crumbs, divided
3 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons sugar
Two 8-ounce packages cream cheese, at room temperature
3/4 cup granulated white sugar
One 15-ounc can LIBBY'S® 100% Pure Pumpkin (or 1 3/4 cups)
3/4 cup sour cream
3/4 cup milk
One 3.5-ounce package instant vanilla pudding mix
3 cups whipped topping, thawed
Directions:

In a medium bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups cookie crumbs, butter and sugar. Press the crumb mixture into the bottom of an 8 1/2 x 11-inch pan. Place the pan into the freezer while you prepare the rest of the dessert. You want the crust to firm up.
In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to soften up the cream cheese and mix until creamy. Mix in the sugar, then the pumpkin and sour cream until well-combined. Add in the milk and the dry pudding mix, and beat for 1 minute.
Remove the pan from the freezer and spread the pumpkin mixture evenly on top. Spread the whipped topping on next. Then sprinkle the remaining cookie crumbs on top.
Refrigerate the dessert for at least a couple of hours before cutting and serving.

• Inks: Basic Black (140931) and Versamark (102283)
• Paper: Very Vanilla (101650), Basic Black (121045), Gold Foil Sheets (132622)
• Other: Gold Embossing powder (109129), Heat Tool (129053), Gold Stampin’ Glitter (133457), Aqua Painters (103954), Gold Basic Metal Button (133763), Multipurpose Glue (110755), Gold Cording Trim (139618), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Glue Dots (103683), empty button container

Measurements: 

• Vanilla card base: 4.25”x11” (top fold) and vanilla strip .75”x3.25”
• Black layers: 4”x5.25” and 2”x4.25”
• Gold layer: 2.25”x 4.5”

Instructions: 

1. Emboss one set of trees on small black layer in gold and a set of trees on both edges of large black layer (in portrait layout)
2. Squeeze teaspoon of multipurpose glue into an empty button container and add 3-4 drops water. Mix and splatter glue onto black layers with Aqua Painter. Sprinkle glitter over glue splatter and shake off excess. Allow to dry.
3. Stamp “Silent Night” in black on vanilla strip and cut banner end.
4. Layer card together as shown. Use dimensionals behind single tree stamp layer. 
5. Thread cording through button and tie bow. Add banner and button with glue dots.
