Here's a beautiful card made with the Beauty of the Season stamp set - this was one of my swap cards from Founder's Circle! I have a ton to share with you - can't wait! The Spotlight technique was used on this card - it's an easy way to take a stamp that you would usually have a lot to color in - and just color a little bit.
TIS THE SEASON - If you've been wondering where I've been (the lack of blogging lately)...tis the season for my family to be hunting. Blogging takes a lot of time and most of my spare time has been spent in the woods of Wisconsin...bear hunting for several weeks and then bow hunting. It's such a great time of the year for my family - we are hunting crazy! So I thought I'd share some of my fall hunting journey with you...
We started the season bear hunting with our FABULOUS group of BEAR friends in Northern Wisconsin. We always have an amazing time with these characters - FUNNY doesn't begin to describe these guys! Here's one of the many bears we encountered.
We also had the opportunity to go coon hunting with one of our BEAR hunting friends in central Wisconsin - great night...Hailey had a BLAST!!!
Here's one of the beautiful sunsets I got to enjoy on a quiet night while bow hunting.
Me and my hunting maniac....Love her to death!!!! She's been giving this bow hunting a valiant try for several years...and a couple weeks ago is the first time SHE EVER SAW A DEER WHILE BOW HUNTING! Can you imagine? That's what we call DETERMINATION!!! Not only did she see a doe on that first night...but she got up in the dark and went out the next morning and saw TWO BUCKS!!!! Now she has the BUG!!!!

Steve (the hubby) is a hunting maniac. He goes to Nebraska every year bow hunting for deer and then an every other year trip to Colorado bow hunting for elk. This year in Nebraska they had a GREAT time. Here's one of the bucks that Uncle Lynn got (far right) with my brother Jeff and hubby's brother Scott.

So now you know why you haven't heard much from me lately...and this next coming weekend is our opening gun hunting - CAN'T WAIT!!! While I am sad that I'm not sharing as many stamping ideas with you this time of year...I am thrilled to be out in the woods with my family, doing what we love.
