Batty About YOU!

Here's a super fun card that my Technique Tuesday stampers enjoyed making this month! The next Technique Tuesday stamping fun night is October 7th - pop me an email to join us!!!

Here's a few details for you:

the leaves are from the Flower Frenzy Bigz die
I needed a background for my Smokey Slate layer...so I chose the Happy Haunting greeting stamp and inked it in Smokey Slate ink...I just stamped it at a diagonal all across this layer
my pumpkin was stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink (of course!) and I colored the stem using a Mossy Meadow marker
The Fall Fest and Fun Fall Framelits Dies are the BOMB!!!!

The little bat is so stinkin' cute....just makes you smile...doesn't it?
I used the Owl Builder Punch combined with the Petite Pennants Builder Punch
The wings were punched with the Petite Pennants punch - you can see below that I just cut three scallop shapes out of the end to make it look like a bat wing
I used the tiny little heart shape from the Owl punch for the owl beak...just turn it up side down and tuck it in under the eyes
The squiggles on the eyes were drawn with the Project Life Journaling Pens - love them!!!
Last - I sponged some white craft ink on my bat to give it some dimension

The inside is stamped with the Frightful Wreath stamp set and another cute little pumpkin from Fall Fest!

Measurements:

Basic Black 8-1/2 x 5-1/2
Elegant Eggplant (4 x 5-1/4)
Smokey Slate (3-3/4 x 5)
Scraps: Basic Black; Pumpkin Pie; Whisper White; Mossy Meadow

Instructions:

Stamp “happy haunting” in Smokey Slate ink diagonally across the entire front of the Smokey Slate layer
Die cut branch leaves and adhere to card front
Adhere Smokey Slate layer to Elegant Eggplant layer and both to card front
Punch owl, sponge with white ink - use Petite Pennant Punch for bat wings - cut scalloped edge and sponge with white ink - assemble and adhere to branch
Ink up pumpkin - use Mossy Meadow Marker to color the stem - stamp and die cut
Die cut ghost
Stamp faces on ghost and pumpkin
Adhere pumpkin to card front - use Dimensionals to adhere ghost
Stamp “Trick-or-Treat” in Pumpkin Pie Ink on the inside
Stamp a pumpkin on the inside too

More Founders Circle Fun

What an amazing trip!!! We were greeted each day by different arrangements and CANDY CANDY CANDY!!!

All the ingredible details is what makes this trip so amazIng...don't you just love the different tags on the candy jars???

Isn't this adorable??? Just one of the fabulous daily gifs we picked up in the gathering place...wrapped and decorated to the hilt! What was inside...the adorable little snowflake embellishments shown on page 22 of the Holiday Mini Catalog!

Our first evening - we had a group activity where we made gingerbread houses! Ours had a little problem with an earthquake at the beginning...but then we got the hang of it and it turned out prertty good!

And here's a photo of me and my friend Barb - just hanging out by the pool...

Founders Circle Fun

I've been away from my blog for awhile...so busy this time of year with hunting season. I am in St. George, Utah for the Founder's Circle achievement trip...and having an amazing time!!! Here are a few photos...my beautiful room....

One Stamp Set - Three Cards

I had a blast last night! I was creating cards for my stamping classes for the month of September...and I think I did pretty good. I set out to do something a little different...use one stamp set for all three projects - and I DID IT! And another little twist - my ladies will be able to choose between two great cards - Fall or Halloween!

If you'd like to come to any of my classes this month - you'll get to make the cards shown below (with a choice between the fall or Halloween ones). Here are my dates and locations - all classes listed start at 6:30 pm.

We'll be playing with REINKERS - for a baby wipe technique - this is a favorite because the spash of fall is always a great combination!

Here's the Die I used for the THANKS layer...a brand new one for me that I think I'm going to absolutely love!!!

I love the matching framelits for the Fall Fest stamp set...they are so fun!

Isn't this pretty??? I love it and this is a perfect stamp to use for this technique.

I put a baby wipe in the lid of one of my old cases and add REINKERS to fill up the amount of space that the stamp will need. For this card I used Tangelo Twist, Mossy Meadow, Hello Honey and Cajun Craze.

GREAT BIG Birthday!

I just had to share this adorable card with you - designed by Sarah Simon for a make-n-take at one of our TEAM meetings.

This card uses the BIG NEWS stamp set - one of my favorites (you can see it below) - I love the GIANT greetings in this set. Sarah also used the new In-Colors sequins - on the tops of the candles.
