Stinkin' Cute Lil' Basket

Isn't this adorable??? Perfect for a friend for Easter or May Day!

We had a TEAM meeting where my downline Debbie Peters demonstrated how easy this little basket is to make! My Technique Tuesday stamp attendees will get to make one too!!!

This is one of 3 projects for the evening. We'll also be making a beautiful white and gold wedding card and the TECHNIQUE project will teach you how to make fun and colorful FAUX WASHI TAPE...WOW! You won't want to miss it!

Here is a picture tutorial showing you how to make this STINKIN' CUTE LIL' BASKET...

I used a stapler to staple the side together and the handle in place. The flowers will cover the staple.

I used my Fringe Scissors to cut the shred in my basket...I used 1/2 sheet of cardstock and then just scrunched it up.

The Pansy Punch cut out the large flower using the Watercolor Wonder DSP shown above and I used the Petite Petal Punch for the little flower.

Here's a simpler version of the basket...super cute too!

Best of Deadline & Other News

So sorry I've been MIA! Sale-a-Bration has been GREAT!!! So great that I've spent most of my spare time doing home workshops, stamp clubs and entering orders like crazy! THANKS so much for helping me have a SUPER promotion once again!!!

There are a few dealines coming up real fast:

Hawaiian Buffet Card

This card just reminds me of Hawaii!!! So I'm calling it my Hawaiin Buffet card - because it will be one of the choices at the Card Buffet this Saturday!!!!

I used the Geometrical set for the HOORAY FOR TODAY greeting in Basic Black ink - the Flower Shop and Petite Petals in Tangerine Tango and Crisp Cantelope for the flowers and Gorgeous Grunge in Crisp Cantelope and Pool Party for the splotches in the background! Don't you just love the Chevron Ribbon - a perfect accent for this card!

I used the AMAZING Fringe Scissors to cut my rainbow of fringes - I love these scissors and I've been told by my stampers that they are of SUPERIOR quality to those bought in the stores! BONUS!!! At only $9.95 - they're a GREAT deal!
