Chevron Turkey

 

Here's one of the cards we made at Technique Tuesday last month.  I had a lot of fun playing with the Labels Thinlit card die and the Harvest of Thanks stamp set...not to mention the NEW Chevron Punch!!!

I used Early Espresso and Tangerine Tango cardstock along with the Sweater Weather Designer Seriese Paper. The 1-3/4' Circle Punch is the perfect size to punch out the turkey in this stamp set.

Here's the back of my card.  I took a strip of scrap cardstock and punched the Chevrons down the edge.  I also punched the edge of my card.  Then I lined it up on the back and slid each point inside the punched shapes to make the design on the side.  Then I trimmed off the ends to match the size of my card.  FUN!

Founder's Circle Adventure 2013

.

I have been trying like crazy to share my adventure with you all....and having tons of trouble with my internet connection at the Marriott!  So I decided to bring my laptop along on the bus ride to Kanab to tour the Stampin’ Up! manufacturing facility....at least I can get things typed up and ready to load when we return to civilization later this afternoon!

.

First I want to thank each and everyone of you....from the bottom of my toes to the tips of my hair when it’s standing on end!  For those of you that are not familiar with this fabulous trip that I’m on...it is awarded to the top 100 demonstrators from the US and the top 20 demonstrators from Canada.  It shocks me every year that I am fortunate enough to be among these amazing ladies...and it is my AMAZING customers and my INCREDIBLE team of demonstrators that help me achieve this most sought after award with Stampin’ Up!  So a HUGE thank you to you all!!!

Fun Display Board
