Gifts of Kindness

Here's a fun - fun fold card for you!!!  I used Strawberry Slush and Whisper White cardstock with the Large Rhinestone Basic Jewels and the regular sized ones too. The Decorative Label punch was the layer for my "thank you" greeting and the little flower is from the Bitty Punch Pack - one of my favorites!!!

I cut my Whisper White cardstock 9-1/2 x 5-1/4 and scored it at 2-1/2 & 5-1/2.  The 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Strawberry Slush layer is just perfect in the back of my card.

Fold on your score lines and run the small front panel through the Big Shot on the Polka Dot folder.  Then use the 2-1/2 Circle Punch to punch out the circle with your front panel folded back. Stamp your flower from the Gifts of Kindess set.  I added Snail adhesive to the back of the front panet to adhere my Ruffled Ribbon on there.  Super easy with a fun wow fold!!!

Masculine Cascade Card

What a productive weekend!!!  I have my cards ready for stamp club this month and everyone is going to enjoy making this simple Cascade Card for the man/men in your life!!!!  I shared a very colorful, fun flower Cascade Card last week with my Technique Tuesday ladies and I really wanted everyone to be able to see how simple this fabulous fun fold card is to make - so I came up with this one!!!

I used Midnight Muse, Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake & Early Espresso cardstock with the Wetlands stamp set.  I cut out the goose image with the Ovals Framelits - I put one on the back that was a size bigger with a HAPPY BIRTHDAY message in it.

Technique Tuesday!!!

 

Oh la la!  A big thanks to Carolee Crabb for sharing a similar card with us at the Demonstrator Shoebox Swap!  This is what I came up with for my Technique Tuesday class!!!  If you'd like to join us - here's the deets:

WHEN:  TUESDAY, AUGUST 6TH

TIME:  6:30 PM

WHERE:  TRINITY LUTHERAN SCHOOL - MENASHA

The class is $5 with a minimum $15 order or FREE with a $40 order.  Just pop me an email or a phone call or text me if you can come!

I used the Delicate Details Lace Tape shown on page 171 in the big catalog.  This tape comes in two designs and it's soooo pretty!  A beautiful embellishment on any card or scrapbook page.  I used it here for a masking technique - LOVE!  

Anyways...I took pieces of it and stuck it on my clothing to lessen the "sticky" - then applied it to my layer, used a dauber to apply Wisteria Wonder ink and took the tape back off!!!  You can reuse it again and again.
