Where the heck have I been? You know I was in Salt Lake City for the Stampin' Up! Convention...and I posted some great photos for you on my first day there...RIGHT? I went to post photos of Day 2 and my laptop failed me again! For those of you that know me - you know I was "madder than #@#%" I lost my internet connection and could never log back on. I shut down and booted back up a dozen times....to no avail. I apologize for abandoning you....I had such HUGE news to share with you all too....let's not waste anymore time.....
OMGosh you guys....I had the most amazing experience on Thursday night at the Awards Ceremony!!!! I was fortunate to receive several awards....but the biggest award came Thursday night. I was ranked as the #10 demonstrator in the category of Demonstrator of the Year!!!!!!!!!! I was stunned, amazed, astonished and shocked....it is such an honor! As the count down rolled up on the big screen....my name didn't appear and didn't appear....AND DIDN'T APPEAR! My friend Jane was sitting by the teleprompter with her neck craned around looking at the screen. Everytime another name appeared - she'd turn to me and tell me that "it's not your name!" This went on and on and on for several names...after #16 popped up (that's where I landed last year - and I was totally amazed at that!). I can't tell you how excited I was....let's just say I was "more than just on the edge of my seat!" When I landed in the top 10 - it was almost unbelievable....somebody needed to pinch me!!!! It's super hard to get photos of this part of the ceremony - everything happens sooooooo fast - but I think Linda Wiese (my convention roomie, downline and friend) did a GREAT job! Here I am headed up on the stage...
Here's a photo of the top 10 Demonstrators of the Year:
