Gorgeous Vintage Valentine!!!

This is without a doubt my all time favorite Valentine!  I just love the vintage look and the pearls and the sponging and the tag (you all know how much I love the 2-Tags Die) and the First Edition Designer Series Paper and the stamp and the ribbon and the lace...oh my!  I received this swap from Carol Payne and I was lucky enough to run into her in Nashville at the Leadership Conference.  I told her how beautiful her swap card was too!!!  It rocked my world! LOL!

I just love the way she used the row of Pearl Jewels across the top of the tag too!

Here are some of the products that Carol used:

Sweet Summer with HEARTS!

I've been missing for a few days....oh boy...have I been dealing with alot of internet problems.  I came home from Nashville with a terrible computer virus - my demo Cindy helped me wipe it out!  Then I thought my modem was malfunctioning. Got that replaced on Friday - only to find out that I'm still having the same problems.  My email works fine - but when I try to open up any additional windows - I run into trouble!  New windows won't open up for me or they're painfully slow.  Up the stairs I run to unplug my wireless router for 30 seconds and then things work good again.  This has thrown a real "slow-down" into the works.  But I'm back...still dealing with the problems, but learning to live with it for awhile!

Here's a fun card I made today using some of the FREE Sale-A-Bration products!  I found the heart idea used on another stamp set by Chat Wzebeki on and thought it would fit perfectly with the Sweet Summer SAB set.  The Ice Cream Parlor Designer Series Paper was a great match too.  Notice my polka dot hearts?  I made them myself with the Dot, Dot, Dot background stamp from page 140 of the big catalog.  The little Daffodil Delight flower in the middle of my hearts comes from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack....a great little embellishment!

And isn't that "Happy Anniversary" image sooooooo elegant?  It's FREE too!  An exclusive Level 2 Hostess set called Something to Celebrate - available in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

If you haven't seen the new Sale-A-Bration mini - click on the link that looks just like this in the right column to see it NOW!!! Everything in it is FREE with a $50 merchandise order!!!!

Inlaid Beveled Windowpane Sale-A-Bration Card

Ohhhh this is so pretty and soooo easy!  Here's one of the samples I made for my Leadership presentation.

I used the large Beveled Windopane and acutally attached a stamped and colored layer to the top of the windowpane - just another idea!

Inlaid Embossing is really fun with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  All you do is punch out some shapes, adhere them to your cardstock and run it through the Big Shot in the Square Lattice Embossing Folder - WAAA LAAA!

This stamp set is brand NEW and it's FREE with a $50 merchandise purchase starting today!!!!  It's part of the HUGE Sale-A-Bration promotion - the set is called Sweet Summer and it's only available until March 31st.

DIGITAL DOWNLOADS - are you a fan of digital scrapbooking?  If so - did you know when you purchase $50 in digital downloads, you will qualify for a FREE Sale-A-Bration item of your choice???

Here are a few of the products I used to make this card:

Valentine Sucker Cone

Here's a super easy and fun treat holder for your Valentine!  This idea came to me from Heather Cousins in a recent swap - LOVE IT!  It uses the NEW Petal Cone Die from the Occasions Mini Catalog (pg 15).  The skies the limit for ideas with this die - I can see ice cream cones and you can turn it upside down and make a party hat!!!!

This is another project for my Technique Class Tuesday evening - you can see one of the other projects HERE.  If you'd like to join us - just pop me an email or call to register!

I stamped the adorable flamingos on the inside for a little surprise when you remove the sucker!

Did you can color our Rhinestone Jewels with a Sharpie Marker and make them any color you want???  How cool is that???

Here are some of the products I used:

#121941 $26.95 (Wood) #123057 $18.95 (Clear) Valentine Defined

Beautiful Medallion Valentine Card

Oh my.....I am in love with so many things about this card!!!!  First I love the new Glimmer Paper!!!  And then the Trinket Keys???  And how about his medallion???

This is just one of the cards we'll be making at my Technique Class on Tuesday evening!!!  You'll also enjoy making a punch card and a Big Shot card....if you'd like to join me - please call or email!!!

Here's a close-up of the tag - I used the Designer Label Punch and Modern Label Punch with a little sliver of black punched with the Pinking Hearts Border Punch and a little glimmery heart tops it off!  The saying comes from the You're a Gem stamp set - perfect for little tags like this.

The Trinket Keys are just precious...they're available in the NEW Occasions Mini Catalog!

BONUS:  And now - here's how I made the medallion!!!!

Cut a strip of our new First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper 1 1/2" x 12".  Score at 1/4" invervals, from one end to the other.  Kinda hard to see in the photo...

Fold on all the score lines making peaks and valleys - add Sticky Strip to one end of your strip.

Adhere the ends together to form a circle.

Then you just flatten your circle into a medallion...

Put some hot glue on a 1 3/8" circle of cardstock and secure it to the middle of the medallion.

I sponged the edges and creases of my medallion with Soft Suede ink to make it take on a vintage look!!!

Secure your medallion to your card front with hot glue and WAAA LAAAA!
