Once Upon A Time......

Once upon a time….there was a CRAZY STAMPER LADY who had a vision. A vision of a SUPER FUN downline meeting. That became a reality on Saturday!!!!

OH MY GOSH….I had sooooooooooooo much fun with my “A Stamp Above” team at our bi-annual meeting!!!! There were 21 in attendance and they all went along with my silly antics – even Rachael posed for pictures!!!! That really made my day – thanks so much for that Rachael!
A good friend of mine came over a while back and her little girl brought me some toys….one of those toys just happened to be a beautiful crown……YES – the one in the crazy picture below!!!

I think if the crown wasn't enough.....the glasses topped it off! I even forgot to take the sticker off the lense!!!! LOL! Everyone donned a tiara and a handmade name tag....our theme for the day was pink and brown.

Cathy made this Stampin' Up! banner for me!!!! She used the Pennant Die, and designer series paper for the letters, taffeta ribbon and jumbo eyelets to string the ribbon through...isn't it ADORABLE!!!!

**AWARDS**
The awards were a HUGE hit....of course the products were outstanding...but I think it was more about being crowned and presented with pink beaded necklaces!

There were three major awards....1) Top Sales; 2) Top Recruiter and 3) Princess for a Day! What the heck is that, you might ask? Everyone of my demonstrators is VERY important to me.....and a lot of my demonstrators are Hobby Demos (they're in it for the discount)....sooooooooo....I decided that I did not want to exclude them from having the opportunity to win one of the SUPER EXCITING MAJOR PRIZES for the day! Thus - I came up with the "Princess for a Day" award.

All awards were based on performance for the last 6 months (Oct-Mar). Top Sales went to Princess Rachael! Top Recruiter went to Princess Cathy! And my "Princess for a Day" went to Princess Bonnie!!!!!

Each MAJOR AWARD WINNER received a Special Tiara, complete with pink, fluffy feathers, a fabulous gift pack of Stampin' Up! products and a handmade pink sash to wear for the day!!!!

Click on the picture to get a load of those sashes....they were super fun to make! I used very wide pink ribbon from the craft store. I ironed Chocolate Chip Designer Series Paper to "wonder under" and then ran it through my Big Shot with the Serif Essentials Alphabet die and ironed the letters onto the ribbon. How incredibly fun would this be for a little girls' birthday party??? Or you could make personalized swash-buckler belts for pirates at a little boy's party.....or honor your friends and family with their very own personalized sash for their birthday, retirement, graduation....the possibilies are endless!!!!

Princesses Nikki, Cathy, Rachael and Doris all received Summer Sun Corduory Buttons and a packet of Recruit Brochures for their successful recruting! Notice Bonnie on the far right - "our Princess for a Day"....yes - she got to present awards, pick doorprize winners and be my right-hand Princess!

Awards were given to Princesses Donna, Nikki, Cindy, Cathy, Doris, and Rachael for being in the TOP 10 SALES!

Receiving awards for Title Promotion was Princesses Donna & Julie!

Princess Nikki received an award for promoting to Supervisor!

Princess Doris also receive an award for promoting to Supervisor!

Princess Bonnie and I welcomed the newest members of my team in attendance - Katie, Bonnie and Shannon!

Princess Cathy was a door prize winner and she chose this fantastic convention bag!

What a happy crowd!!!

Here were some of the doorprizes the Princesses were able to choose from. Along with all the Stampin' Up! product...I brought out my 3-D sample box too!

The major award winners were SUPER surprized!

I stamped up these gift bags with Pink & Cocoa stars!

Princess Lisa was extrodinarily happy with her door prize - I love that "diva" attitude!!!!

**DEMONSTRATIONS**

Four of my Princesses conducted technique demonstrations - here is Princess Rachael's Faux Metal Tag demo - Spectacular!

Princess Doris showed us how to make a Fun Fold card!!!

Princess Cathy demonstrated the Faux Shaving Cream technique!

Brayering on our Texturz Plates was the demonstration conducted by Princess Cheryl!

**SHOEBOX SWAP**

No matter how spectacular....we counldn't stop at a meeting - we followed it up with an area wide Shoebox Swap! A HUGE thank you to all the Stampin' Up! demonstrators in the area that made the trip to stamp with us!
I always LOVE the food at these events and it was all incredible.....Cathy made these Brownie Pops - how stinkin' cute are they????

I think the tiaras were a major factor in helping these princesses complete all 20 cards!!!!

Thanks for stopping by.....if you're looking for a team to join - give me a call, there's nothing like being treated like a PRINCESS...even if it is only for a day!

Stay tuned this week for photos of the swap cards - they were outstanding too!!!!

You can't go on a road trip without a little excitement.....

I used a VersaMarker pen to color in the letters on the front too - I really like that look!

Ink: Kiwi Kiss; Basic Black
Cardstock: Kraft; Pacific Point; Kiwi Kiss
Accessories: Dimensionals; Big Shot; Texturz Plates; Brayer; VersaMarker; 1 ¼” Circle Punch; Word Window Punch; Crop-a-Dile; Gold Eyelets; Hemp

Wedding Stuff

My stepdaughter - Anna, on the left- is getting married in June....you saw our CRAZY shower and wedding invitation marathon a few weeks ago! Here's a few more pictures as we continue on with all the preparations!

She purchased 150 of these glass votive holders - 3 will surround the wedding cakes on each table at the reception - YEP - she's going to have individual wedding cakes on each table!!! How cool is that???? The cake maker place is hot gluing each cake plate to an upside down wine glass - how cool is that too?????

The girls stamped each one with VersaMark ink and embossed it with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder - they are soooooooo pretty in real life - these pictures just don't do them justice!

I am totally floored with all the handmade items that Anna has chosen to make....this is so out of her element! She has never had a crafty bone in her body - absolutely no desire! Although she's got a stamping/scrapbooking store at her fingertips (my stuff), she's NEVER been interested in any of it! And here she is making all these things for her wedding - I'm sooooooo PROUD of her!!!!
