  • There's no penalty to drop!  If you wish to renew your demonstrator status for the following quarter (for example July through Sept) you would be required to have $300 in product sales (including your own orders).
  • Starter Kit ships FREE!  Yes, that's free shipping - another savings!
  • Become a member of my A Stamp Above Team!  You'll have access to my exclusive Team blog, downline info and meetings, Team Yahoo Group and MORE!

If those haven't convinced you, here are a few more!

  1. Value - if you are just getting into stamping, this is the smart way to go!  We always say that if you want it all, join Stampin' Up!  And even if you have some of SU's product, if you want lots more why not get it at a 20% discount?  It's silly not to!
  2. Fun - what could be better than to be a part of SU and the camaraderie with friendly stampers!  Oh the people you will meet and the friends you will make!
  3. Opportunity - make some money at what you love to do.  A little or a lot; it's up to you.  What could be better than earning money while having fun?!  It's the best job I've ever had.
  4. Convention & other events - you can join me at our fabulous Convention this summer. In July we will meet in Salt Lake City, Utah for the best fun you've ever had.  Honestly, it's an event you will always remember. SU does it up right.
  5. Team benefits - as part of my team you will have unlimited access to my downline blog and class ideas and also a private FaceBook group just for my demonstrator team.
  6. Flexibility - you can make your own schedule.  You can join just for the discount or to run a business.  It's totally your choice.
  7. Support - Besides support from me you also get tons from Stampin' Up!  They love their demonstrators and it shows through the demonstrator support materials. Heart Framelit Envelope

They're not just for hearts anymore!!!  I'm talking about the Framelits Hearts Collection.  These dies are the bomb!!!  The little envelope on the front of my card is made from the large scalloped heart in the collection.  Below you'll see exactly how to score your heart to make an envelope too!

MAKE THIS CARD!!!  If you'd like to make this card - you can join me for my FREE classes!!!  There is no fee - just a minimum order of $15.  We'll be making 2 other projects too!!!  Here are the February dates:

Monday, Feb 13th - Fond Du Lac - 6:30pm

Monday, Feb 20th - Menasha - 5:30 or 6:30 pm

Tuesday, Feb 21st - Oshkosh - 6:30 pm

Thursday, Feb 23rd - Menasha - 5:30 or 6:30 pm

I'm in love with the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper that's available as one of your FREE choices in the Sale-A-Bration brochure.

First I cut a piece of DSP 6 x 6 and die cut the heart.

After fiddling around with my folds for a little while - I came up with the perfect dimensions.  Place your heart on the Simply Scored tool and score at 1-3/8 & 4-1/8.

Fold in the sides, turn your heart as shown below and score again at 1-3/4 while the sides are folded in. Fold up the bottom flap and secure with a brad or adhesive.

The bow that I made is pretty self explanatory, but I decided to make a little template so it would be easier for my customers to make.

I made a template that's 2-1/2" wide by 2" tall.  I punched a 1/2" hole in the middle and then cut from the hole to the bottom of the template.  This made an area big enough to handle the brad I used to hold my ribbon together.  I wrapped both colors of ribbon around the template 3-4 times.

Insert the brad around all the layers in the middle.

And just slide it off the bottom of the template.  I then inserted my brad through the mini envelope and the Calypso Coral cardstock layer on the front of my card.

Here are a few of the products I used - the Outline Occasions stamp set and the Brad & Ribbon pack are FREE items in the Sale-A-Bration brochure:

Another SAB Sneak Peek!

Here's another sneak peek card using the SPRINKLED EXPRESSIONS stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration promotion that starts on January 24th!!!

I punched a bunch of flowers from the Boho Blossoms punch and layed them on a piece of white cardstock - this time using Dimensionals!!!  I wanted a deeper image and this seems to be the trick.  You can view the other SAB cards using this stamp set by clicking on SALE-A-BRATION under CATAGORIES in the right column on my blog.

I stamped the flower image in Pretty in Pink CRAFT ink and then heat embossed it with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder.  It's soooo pretty in person.  The little flowers in the top right use the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and our Rhinestone Jewels.  And how about this new POOL PARTY SEAM BINDING???  This is another new product in the Occasions Mini catalog - going live on January 4th!!!

You can view my stacking order for the homemade texture plate on my December 20th post.

Here's a close up of the embossed flowers...

Here's my template...

The embossed flowers seem to show up better when I photograph the card at this angle:

Valentine Sneak Peek!

Love is in the air!!!  Here's a cute card that I made using the layout for the New Year's Card we made this month at my FREE classes (you can view HERE).  As soon as I saw this new FASHIONABLE HEARTS EMBOSSLIT - I knew I had to try it with this layout. I used the Tree Trimmings stamp set for the strings above each heart.  The embosslit is a brand new product coming out in the Occasions Mini catalog. I used Riding Hood Red cardstock and ink.  Another great accessory is the PLEATED RIBBON!!!  Available in Pear Pizzazz, Riding Hood Red, Blushing Bride & Baja's so beautiful!

This card is also uses the SPRINKLED EXPRESSIONS stamp set - coming to you January 24th for FREE - with a $50 order.  Part of the Sale-A-Bration promotion.  You can view all the cards I've made with this set by clicking on the Sale-A-Bration CATAGORY in the right column of my blog.

Here's a little tip on multicolored images...I stamped my stamp in Riding Hood Red ink and then took the Basic Black marker to color "you just the way you are."  I like using this technique because it's easier than using 2 different colored markers.  As long as the marker you use is dark - this works.

Here's the inside - the words are from the Delightful Dozen hostess set...

Another Sneak Peek!!!

Here's some more amazing products...

This card features the SPRINKLED EXPRESSIONS stamp set - FREE with a $50 order starting Jan 24th - with our Sale-A-Bration promotion!!!  My bright cardstock is Pacific Point.  It also uses the new framelits dies LABELS COLLECTION.  The largest of these framelits are 5-7/16" with the smallest being about 2".  There are six in all.

I used the Stars #2 Originals Die to die cut a bunch of stars out of cardstock...then glued them to a sheet of cardstock and used it as a texture's hard to see in the photos, but there's a line of stars running up the left side of my card.  It's so fun to use dies and punches to make your own texture plates!  The stacking order for your Big Shot from the bottom up is:

Multipurpose plate with tab 1

Cutting Plate

Homemade Star Texture Plate (shown below)

Silicone Rubber (shown below)

Impressions Pad (shown below)

You can see the embossed stars better in this photo...

Here's the template I made...

Here's a platter of the goodies we enjoyed at our Christmas celebration on Saturday.  I spent an entire day baking cookies and candy.  I love baking (hate cooking)!  I made Christmas cut out cookies, Andi's chocolate mint cookies, confetti cookies, peanut blossoms, pretzel sticks dipped in almond bark, Bugles dipped in almond bark, english toffee, angel food, cashew brittle and homemade carmels...whew!  Hailey's boyfriend looks forward to helping me with the candy making every year...this year he helped with the toffee, angel food and wrapped carmels.  He was a little helpless...he just had surgery on his shoulder last week - but a one handed helper is great too!  I gave each of the men a tin bucket filled with a sampling of everything...when they were packing up to leave they were all making sure they had their candy/cookie buckets!!!
