OSAT Blog Hop - Very Vintage!

DSCN9805w

Welcome to the ONE STAMP AT A TIME (OSAT) blog hop! You might be arriving here from Andrea Tracy-Tucker's blog or you might be popping in for the first time here. Regardless of how you got here - please make sure you scroll down to the NEXT button so you can continue on the hop. We have some great VINTAGE projects for you this month! Each blog will show you a card and a 3-d item...that can be a gift bag or box or some type of home decor item or a treat holder...the skies the limit and you'll be sure to see lots of variety with this group of talented stampers!

And here's what I came up with - a vintage card and a wooden crate! I used the stamp set called COUNTRY LIVIN' and the awesome WOOD CRATE FRAMELITS. A worn pair of old cowboy boots always says VINTAGE to me. I used the Stampin' Up! Watercolor Crayons for these and I was super happy with the way they turned out.

Do you love the wood texture on my card front? It's the new WOOD TEXTURES DESIGNER SERIES PAPER STACK - OMGosh - it has so many different wooden patterns - I LOVE this stack!

Dimensions:

  • Dapper Denim 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 & 3/8 x 3 & scrap
  • Wood Textures DSP 4 x 5-1/4
  • Very Vanilla 1/2 x 3 & scraps

Here's a close up of the watercolored boots - watercoloring is so easy! I love that I can color something in like an artist would with such ease! Make sure you watch my video about to see how easy it is.

And I watercolored the guitar too:

This crate is so easy to make - it's all a die! I just popped my WOOD TEXTURES DSP in the Big Shot and cut it out - fold on the score lines and glued it together - waaaa laaaa!!! I put some truffles in my little crate - they are delicious and more importantly - I liked the color of the wrappers! LOL! Stampers are funny like that.

I can't hardly wait to give this to someone. I'm going to give it to the next person that goes out of their way to help me...like the lady at the bank that helped me get everything in order for my trip to Thailand! She's perfect!!!

Love the addition of the lace. Adds a feminine touch to the beautiful vintage pieces!

Jennifer Hill

Such sweet projects, the lace is dainty but the boots and wood are a little rough. Perfect combo!

Jessie Holton

So cute! I love your shading xx

Sherlie Magaret

Love your card and the vintage look with the great color choices. It would make a wonderful masculine bd card, TFS.

Renee Ondrajka

Very nice and simple projects with that vintage feel. Great job!

Lydia

Love this card. Have to try water coloring now that I see how easy it can be.

Jenny Hall
