Beautiful Fall Cards!!!

Every month I am graced the with presence of some of my TEAM members...and last Sunday was my lucky day!!!  I just returned from my Founder's Circle trip in St. George, Utah at about 5 pm with a TEAM meeting scheduled for 6:30 - OH MY!  I knew if I didn't have any plane delays - I could pull this off!  It was going to be an easy meeting from my perspective...I was sharing all my LOOT from my trip and 123 swap cards from the TOP DEMONSTRATORS in the US & Canada...what could be better???

What I didn't anticipate was my luggage not following me home that suitcase stayed in Minneapolis!  Thank goodness I had a large carry-on with some of my "fun to share" stuff inside.  We had to make do with that.

The other great part about our meeting (from my view point) was the WOW demonstrations that my ladies were doing!  I love demonstrations...and Linda Wiese did a ROCKIN' job showing us how to make our own envelopes to match our cards.  If you haven't purchased the new Simply Scorin' tool - it's a MUST HAVE!

Here's Linda showing us the ins and outs of this fabulous new product.

And here are a few of the cards she made with matching envelopes!!!  Aren't they just scrumptious???  The new Spice Cake Designer Series Paper is soooo beautiful and combined with the Spice Cake Designer Fabric you can't go wrong...and let's not forget the Gently Falling stamp set - it's the BOMB!!!

Here are some of the products used:

Founder's Circle - Day 3

Day 3 found us on a bus bright and early - headed for the city of Kanab for a fun day touring the Stampin' Up! manufacturing facility!!!  Here's what we were treated to on the bus ride there by our amazing Angie...that's right..tons of CANDY!!!!

The reception that we received when we arrived was sooooo fun.  Here's all the employees waiting with welcome really made us all feel like rockstars!

I just had to share these funny photos.  You know I've always talked about "all the little details" that SU is famous for.  Well this is another example of one of those.  They not only turned the mens restroom into a womens restroom for our visit - but they covered up the word MEN on that door and put a little skirt on the image!!!!

Here's a photo of Shelli and I standing in her apartment living room.  This beautiful facility comes complete with a gorgeous apartment above the plant for Shelli and her family to reside at when she visits the Kanab location.

I wish I could show you the tour we took inside the plant - but unfortunately photos aren't allowed in there. It was really neat - we were able to see how the sheets of rubber are heated on plates and cut into our precious stamp sets.  I actually got to cut the rubber sheets on the production line and go through the picking line where I added the image stickers, wood blocks and sheets of rubber to the stamp cases!  The line supervisor told me "I was hired!"  Good to know I have somethng to fall back on - LOL!  At the end of my employment stint - I was able to take home a brand new stamp set that will be coming out in the new Occasions Mini Catalog!!!

After our tour we headed to the city park that utilizes Stampin' Up!'s left over rubber for the playground area and were treated to a luncheon.  Our lunches were packed in these adorable picnic baskets!!!  Again - just another specail "detail" that makes this trip so fabulous!

Here's a photo of "my peeps" sitting with our feet in the RUBBAH! Barb, me, Dawn and Jane

Our nightime treat was a trip to the FABULOUS Tuahcan outdoor theater.  This is the most incredible show I've ever seen...The Little Mermaid!!!  I have to tell you that the theme of this one didn't grab me right away.  But I'm soooo glad that I went - I've never seen anything like it.  I was here a few years ago for a show and the water that comes cascading down from the red rock canyon is amazing - the background of the stage is actually the red rock cliffs.  But the show itself is just amazing!  The costumes were unbelieveable, the story line was filled with great humor and the acting - top notch!  If you ever get a chance to come to St. George - you HAVE to see a show!!!

My trip has been filled with soooo much laughter my cheeks hurt!  Yesterday after our tour we just sat in the gathering place on those great big sofas, exhausted, but laughing about everything.  Shelli even came over to join us for awhile to hear how Penny Thomas couldn't just go take a "power nap" before the Little Mermaid show that night because she'd wake up in a "BLUE FUNK" - complete with animation by Penny - it was hysterical!  Here's a photo of us at the show - with Bonnie Thurber (one of my absolute favorite SU employees) goofing around as I would expect from Bonnie!  Shelli and her daughters sat behind us for the show too!

I have tons of other photos to share...but I really can't put them all on here.  I will try to find some time to upload them to Facebook - that's a great place for them!  If you're not my "friend" on FB - "friend" me now and you'll get to see everything!

Today is a day of relaxation....we will have our final "fairwell" dinner tonight - which I sure will be nothing short of amazing!  Check back tomorrow for an update on my amazing trip.

Thanks for stopping by...

Founder's Circle - Day 2 Cont'd

I have soooo many photos to share with you over the next few days!  Day 2 led into an evening FULL of excitement...with the amazing swap and share night.  This is where we gather as a group for a PJ party!!! It's the highlight of our trip for me.  My wonderful downline - Sarah Simon made my swap cards for me (I will share those soon) - THANK GOODNESS too!!!

Here's our gathering place and the start of the party...

Nancy Gauthier is the funniest lady of our Canadian demos - in true form - she showed up in these PJ's complete with a trap door and bear claw slippers!

Here's me and my peeps - Barb Mullikin, me, Dawn Olchefske and Jane Wike.  We have been having a you'll see by all the photos I have to share in the coming days...

And the card swap begins!  It looks like chaos...but it runs super smooth...

Here's Jane, Barb and Penny Thomas drooling over all the swaps...

And now a few of the desserts we enjoyed...

And then we presented Shelli with a crown and birthday wishes - she's celebrating a BIG one next month!!!

Day 3 - was jam packed full.  I can't wait to show you all the fun we had...but it's late and I am exhausted....we went to Tuacahn outdoor theater tonight (Day 3) to see the musical Little was our special treat from Stampin' Up!!!! Check back tomorrow to continue following the journey!

Thanks for stopping by...

Founder's Circle - Day 2

Today I took a trip to Jill Olsen's house for a fabulous lunch, demonstrations and make-n-takes!!!  Jill is my 5th upline - she always invites us to her home for some super fun - it's a trip that I wouldn't miss!

Jill demo'd how to make these fabulous aprons using SU fabric...

Then she drew names and I was one of the's a photo of me and Patty Chenail with our WINNING aprons...

And then she announced that her assistants made aprons for ALL OF US!!!!

Here's a photo of Jill's stamp room...

We also had our card swap tonight...I'll have to share photos of that with you tomorrow some time!  I have to get my butt to's late and we are taking a bus trip to Knab tomorrow to tour the Stampin' Up! manfucaturing plant!  Off to bed I go....
