Fabulous Florets

102_2799                             I just had to share my TEAM Meeting swap cards with you.  Isn't this a beauty?  Those that want to participate each month are entered in a contest - with their fellow teammates voting for their favorite.  For our July meeting - Shelley Olson was the winner with this beauty (exclamation point)  Here she is with her prize - a Snail Adhesive holder that I brought back from convention (exclamation point again)                                                                                                                                                                    102_2801

Sorry for the weird typing - my keyboard is failing.  The enter key won't work - so I can't put in any spaces between my lines.  And my exclamation point took a powder....what can a girl do without her exclamation point????  DO NOT FEAR....I picked up a brand new MAC the other day - now I just have to learn how to use it - LOL (exclamation point)    Thanks for stopping by....

Sale Fun!!!

The used stamp sale was a huge success this last spite of the weather!  It was super humid and very warm (just like I like it...most of the time).  Not exactly perfect weather when your unpacking box after box and moving tables and running your butt off (yea...I still have mine - DANG!).  We had a GREAT turn out.  We just pushed the last table into the garage when the rain started coming down - WHEW.  We all changed into our swimming suits and jumped in the the pouring rain!!!  It was hilarious!  You could almost see the steam pouring off the water when we hit it - there's no better way to cool off!!!

This little shopper just couldn't take it anymore!!!  She fell asleep during lunch....

And now for a fun summer card....I made this when I was designing cards for my convention swaps.  Don't you love the way I took the Square Scallop die and made it smaller???  Just die cut it and then move it over on the die to make it narrower...super simple!

My wonderful downline - Kay Weber surprised me at my Oshkosh class last week with a wonderful card and a beautiful bouquet of flowers - congratuating me for my #10 Top Demo award!!!!  How very sweet of her - the flowers still look gorgeous!!!

Where Have I Been???

Where the heck have I been?  You know I was in Salt Lake City for the Stampin' Up! Convention...and I posted some great photos for you on my first day there...RIGHT?  I went to post photos of Day 2 and my laptop failed me again!  For those of you that know me - you know I was "madder than #@#%"  I lost my internet connection and could never log back on.  I shut down and booted back up a dozen no avail.  I apologize for abandoning you....I had such HUGE news to share with you all too....let's not waste anymore time.....

OMGosh you guys....I had the most amazing experience on Thursday night at the Awards Ceremony!!!!  I was fortunate to receive several awards....but the biggest award came Thursday night.  I was ranked as the #10 demonstrator in the category of Demonstrator of the Year!!!!!!!!!!  I was stunned, amazed, astonished and is such an honor!  As the count down rolled up on the big name didn't appear and didn't appear....AND DIDN'T APPEAR!  My friend Jane was sitting by the teleprompter with her neck craned around looking at the screen.  Everytime another name appeared - she'd turn to me and tell me that "it's not your name!"  This went on and on and on for several names...after #16 popped up (that's where I landed last year - and I was totally amazed at that!).  I can't tell you how excited I was....let's just say I was "more than just on the edge of my seat!"  When I landed in the top 10 - it was almost unbelievable....somebody needed to pinch me!!!!  It's super hard to get photos of this part of the ceremony - everything happens sooooooo fast - but I think Linda Wiese (my convention roomie, downline and friend) did a GREAT job!  Here I am headed up on the stage...

Here's a photo of the top 10 Demonstrators of the Year:

A HUGE thank you to all my customers/stamping friends....I've said it a hundred times...I could not do this without you!  Thank you soooooo much for allowing me to have a job that I love, share my love of stamping with you all and most of all your support and friendship - I truly cherish that the most!!!

Here's a few more fun photos...Spencer Willis singing the Candy Man and his kids dancing with him!!!

Me in part of the garden display...aren't these paper flowers pretty???

Mary Ellen Byler did a fabulous job demonstrating some beautiful she is...she was soooo funny!

Here's one of her gorgeous cards...

I'll be sure to share more with you when I get my bearings back...I have alot of emails to catch up on and a class to get ready for!!!
