And now for a little fun....I found out last week that I really want to take a cake decorating class! I messed with these cupcakes all afternoon for a soccer cookout...I wanted them to be really cute! As you can see - they aren't anything special. I scrapped off more frosting than I care to mention - I think the tips for my decorator thingie is just a little too big for cupcakes. Oh well...they tasted good.

I had a BLAST last Friday with the middle schooler's at St. John Neumann for their Special Interest Day! I was one of many providing the kids with a super fun day to kick off their spring break! They were able to participate in two classes - a scrapbooking class and a card making class. I shared one of their Scrapbooking projects last week. You can view that HERE.
Here's one of the cards they enjoyed making...a perfect theme for their age group. I gave them the option of making this a birthday card or a Father's day card.
And then they enjoyed making this Mother's day card - originally designed by Laurie Zoellmer. It uses the BRAND NEW Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper - coming to you in our April Promotion!!!
Here's the 2nd project for the scrapbooking class. I thought something masculine would be in order...to go with the Father's day card. I made this as a 5" x 7" - perfect for framing and giving to all the wonderful dads for their special day! This is my FABULOUS, WONDERFUL, MAGNIFICENT dad! The BEST dad a girl could ever ask for!!!! YES - I LOVE him dearly!
Here's me with some of my scrapbookers...they love these classes!
And a few of my stampers....
And some more card makers...
Here are a couple of the products I used for our classes....GRUNGE ROCK is one of my favs!

WOW - another scrapbook page!!! This is a fun one - perfect for middle school girls? I think so!!! I am teaching a class at St. John Neumann Middle School on Friday and I have 10 girls that will be making this page - SUPER FUN!!!
And yes...these are the same photos from my pages yesterday...but in color. They were handy - as I already had them printed from the previous project.
This is an 8 1/2" x 11" page - I wanted to give them something that they could frame....just in case they don't have a scrapbook...great idea hey? I pick up these Document frames at the "big box" store - you know the one....for $3 or $4. They're 8 1/2" x 11" - so perfect to frame this page!
Some of these cardstock and DSP is retired - but easily substituted for current colors:
Ingredients - Stamps: Contemporary Alphabet (retired); Flight of the Butterfly Ink: Basic Black; Melon Mambo Accessories: Butterfly Punch; Scallop Edge Punch; Scallop Circle Punch; 1/2” Circle Punch; Two Tags Die; Big Shot Cardstock: Barely Banana 8 1/2 x 11; Pumpkin Pie 5 1/2 x 4; 3 1/2 x 5; Melon Mambo 1 1/2 x 8 1/2; 2 1/2 x 5 1/2 (Tag Die); DSP 3 x 8 1/2; Scraps: Glossy White

Here's something a little different for me....a scrapbooking page! I haven't scrapped in a longgggg time. I received a request from my TEAM to have a scrapbooking project for our make-n-take at our monthly meeting and this is what I came up with.
It's a PROGRESSIVE scrap page. I love the versatility of this "type" of page. It's often what I will use at a workshop if my hostess asks for scrapbooking. WHY? Because you never know what size your guests are scrapbooking at home. And this page covers 6" x 6", 8 1/2" x 11" and 12" x 12" - HOLY COW!!!!
Here is the page that my workshop guests would be making...it's a 6" x 6". But what if they make a different size at home?
They can layer their 6" x 6" onto an 8 1/2" x 11" page like I did here!
And if they are into 12" x 12" - the 8 1/2" x 11" page can be layered onto a 12" x 12" - WAA LAA! Everyone is happy!!!!
These photos are printed in Black & White. They show the start of the night for my daughter, Hailey and her friends at the annual King's Dance - you know...where the girls ask the boys! I thought Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Basic Black were colors that added elegance - but also would be very versatile for my demonstrators and their photos.
Here are some of the products that I used: If you'd like to order any of these products you can click on the icon at the top right of this screen (on my blog) that says CLICK TO ORDER ONLINE.

Here's a pretty card using the Fun Fold that I made the cupcake card with. The cupcake card (see HERE) is a bigger card than the standard A2. So my customer Kathy Sheldon modified my template to make an A2 size - THANKS KATHY!!!
Here's what I came up with - all my stampers will be making this card on Monday 3/21 in Fond Du Lac, Thursday 3/24 & Monday 3/28 in Menasha!!!! If you'd like to come make one - just pop me an email or call to register. The class is free - just a $15 order for Stampin' Up! product is all that's requested!!!
I used Watercolor Crayons and an Aqua Painter on the butterfly...and a little Dazzling Diamonds puts it over the top! I love BLING!
I stamped the butterfly on my flower layer and again on a scrap. Color and cut out the scrap, then mount it on the card with a Dimensional to give it a POP!
Here's the template for this fun fold - it's really simple!
Here's a video to show you how easy this card is:

Chocolate Torte
I've had several requests for my Chocolate Torte Recipe....those that attended the Stamp Camp on March 5th were able to taste test this great dessert!
Crust: 1 1/2 C flour; 3/4 C Crisco; 3/4 C nuts (I use walnuts)
Mix like pie crust, pat down in 9 x 13 cake pan. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes - cool.
Filling: 8 oz cream cheese (softened); 1 C powdered sugar; 1 small tub Cool Whip; 2 small instant chocolate puddings; 3 C milk
Beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar & 1/2 the Cool Whip tub. Spread on cooled crust. You have to be careful when you do this - the crust likes to stick to the filling. Mix pudding & milk until thick and spread on top of cream cheese mixture. Top with the remainder of the Cool Whip. I like to shave some chocolate on top of mine to make it a little fancier! It's a favorite at my house....Enjoy!
OH MY....I've been missing for a little while...BUT I'm BACK!!!! Here's a GREAT project that my stampers will be having fun with all month!!! That's right - all month! You can come make this fabulous card and two others with me on Monday (3/21 @ 6:30) in Fond Du Lac or in Menasha on 3/24 or 3/28 at 5:30 in Menasha - call or email to register. The class is FREE - just a minimum $15 order.
I made this card in three different colors that coordinate with the Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper and matching Designer Fabric.
Ingredients: Stamps: Sweet Summer, Bring on the Cake Ink: Old Olive; VersaMark Accessories: Springtime Vintage DSP; Springtime Vintage Designer Fabric; Tulip Embossing Folder; Dimensionals; 1 3/8 Circle Punch; 1 1/4 Circle Punch; 1 3/4 Scallop Circle Punch; Springtime Vintage Designer Buttons; 1/8 Vanilla Taffeta; Hot Glue Gun; Tasteful Trim Die; Big Shot Cardstock Dimensions: I used Baja Breeze, Rose Red or Pink Pirouette cardstock for the base. Very Vanilla 4 1/4 x 3; DSP 1/2" strips; Scraps: Old Olive; Very Vanilla
